HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

As the Head of International Logistics, you will be responsible for overseeing all logistics streams and day to day running of our logistics at HQ and our international regions.

This shall include the definition of the optimization of the entire logistic flows between countries considering custom and freight constraints. Additionally, this role will be expected to support the logistics department at a technical level as well as being involved in other key organizational projects.

You will oversee the following departments:

  • UK and International Dispatch teams
  • Stock Control Team
  • Customs & Trade Compliance Team
  • EU Operations and Logistics Hub
  • US Operations and Logistics Hub

 

In addition to the above you will work closely with other business area’s within Watchfinder and Richemont Group to support the planned future growth of the business whilst ensuring we stay within the agreed financial budgets (resource, overheads, and freight/carrier costs) and that we maintain compliance with all relevant local and international regulations in relation to the movement and trade of pre-owned luxury watches across country borders.

 

Main Tasks:

  • Adherence by all teams within Logistics department of Group Security and Group Transport guidelines in relation to the storage and movement of watches.
  • Point of escalation for all areas of Logistics department.
  • SME for all new/future projects within Watchfinder that involve Logistics.
  • Carrier account management and logistics budget management.
  • Creation, implementation, and monitoring of procedures across all teams (with the support of direct report managers).
  • Support the Trade Compliance Manager in ensuring all stock locations (UK & International) maintain a high level of compliance in relation to the international movement of pre-owned watches.
  • Global Stock Accuracy – supporting the Stock Control Manager and Finance team in the   successful completion of the global stock audits in line with Group and external auditor      requirements.
