An internship at Watchfinder will give you valuable real-world experience while you are still a student. The internship programme is geared toward a structured learning environment giving students direct experience in working on real problems within a supportive team environment.

During the HR & Talent Internship you will get a first-hand experience of what a career in human resources & Talent at Watchfinder involves, and if it is right for you.
Within the 12 weeks, you will work on live business problems and will be expected to make relevant contributions and lead of specific projects laid out at the beginning of the programme. Within this internship, you will get the opportunity to maximise your potential with stimulating work and an engaging team!

 

Please note, this role is currently based at our Kent HQ and there is a requirement to be on site four days per week.

 

  • Participate in and lead ad hoc HR, Learning & Development & Talent projects within the team.
  • Assist in updating content on the HR Intranet website to enhance our internal branding.
  • Supporting with initiatives such as Wellbeing and Employee Engagement, including coming up with new and creative solutions.
  • Providing admin support across HR, Learning & Development & Talent teams
  • Create communications for the Watchfinder business that will engage our employees.
  • Participate in and lead ad hoc HR, Learning & Development & Talent projects within the team.

In order to be successful in this role you will have:

  • Currently studying or a recent graduate in the field of HR, Business Management, Finance or Marketing at University.
  • A passion and enthusiasm for the Watchfinder brand.
  • Ability to multitask, effectively manage workload to work to deadlines.
  • Understanding of and ability to work within principle of equal opportunities, data protection and regarding confidentiality.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to be creative with tools such as Canva, PowerPoint or Adobe Creative suite. Experience of creative/communications writing would be an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook Packages.

Your journey with us:

Once you’ve submitted your application, our Talent team shall review and shortlist your application. You with then be invited to participate in a recorded video interview which will be sent out straight to your email. In this, we would like you to answer a few questions via video and one written.

If you’ve met our criteria, you will then be move forward to the next stage and be asked to complete another assessment. These will be sent via an email link and will give us further information on your application.

We will then do a final review of your application and if successful, invite you to an Assessment Centre.
