This newly created Business Intelligence role will be managing the planning, scope, execution, and delivery of multiple BI projects to deliver high quality, meaningful and useful insights to drive business decisions. The role will act a technical lead and requires mentoring a team of BI/data analyst to strengthen the organisation towards data driven decision making capabilities through proactive exploration and generation of relevant business insights

How will you make an impact?

  • Lead and inspire the BI team and help shape the long-term data strategy for Watchfinder working with the executive team
  • Design, develop, manage organisation reports and analytics, dashboards, and data warehouse
  • Develop high quality data structures and support provision, consistency, and quality of data
  • Work with cross functional PICs across operations, finance, marketing, and sales to understand their needs into analytics requirements and manage prioritization
  • Provide expertise to derive relevant insights from business objectives and problems
  • Lead the team on proactive exploration and generation of insights, advanced/predictive analytics
  • Partner with Richemont group data team to accelerate our BI initiatives and maximise group synergies.
  • Perform an evangelist role, drive the visualisation and adoption of reports
  • Work with product team to define the relevant analytics offerings on existing and new products
  • Analyse KPIs to identify operational risks, issues, process improvements, business growth opportunities
  • Lead development and implementation of databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality


How will you experience success with us?

  • Proven working experience of leading a data analytics or business intelligence team
  • Strong data visualisation skills in Power BI, knowledge on other BI tools is a plus
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks)
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
