Role Insight

As a Merchandise Coordinator, not only do you manage the vast activity of current stock, but you also forecasting what we will need well into the future . It requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail and an organised work ethic. We ask for these skills simply so you can get as much as you can out of the experience and really flourish in the role. It is a chance for your skills to shine.
The Merchandiser will help maximise sales and opportunity by assisting in our commercial teams by providing valuable insights from data and stock whilst building relationships with the teams across the country.

Duties will include: 

•    Using data to optimise the sales volume and profitability of all product areas
•    Work closely with Purchasing and Finance to produce analysis of stock holding 
•    Specifically analyse “old” or slow-moving stock to identify current stock items that need reducing and make informed recommendations for action

•    Analyze purchasing, stock & performance per category/price and advise senior commercial management on areas to dial up and dial down focus
•    You will report on trends and product performance weekly and find ways to optimise commercial activities
•    Communicate accurate information to internal Sales and Marketing teams for use in the production of marketing plans
•    Develop and maintain a dynamic communication flow with Logistic, Purchasing and our servicing teams to ensure full alignment is maintained at all times. 
•    Producing weekly/monthly reporting packs and any required ad Hoc Analysis in view of monthly meeting schedules. 

Stock, Logistic & Reporting
•    Work with Country Manager on US Purchasing Strategy sell through
•    Reporting all buying prices of watches to secure best possible margin
•    Working closely with the Operations Administrator and Watchfinder service centre team to en-sure that watches purchased are authenticated, tested and prepared for sale according to Watch-finder’s standards
•    Monitor and manage stock and product movement from client/partner to Operation & logistic center


About you ... 
•    A track record of creating positive impact on business through merchandising, ideally gained in a multi-brand retailer 
•    Organised with a true understanding of the importance of detail and accuracy of information
•    Ability to plan, prioritise and understand significance of actions
•    Ability to work independently, with a positive “can do” attitude
•    Numerate, accurate with sound analytical skills, you will have ninja level Excel skills. 
•    Ability to present information and ideas clearly to your wider team and commercial leaders. 
•    Ability to work in a team environment and cross functionally (Essential)
•    Self-motivated (Essential)
•    The Confidence to deal with/present to colleagues at all levels of the business 
•    Good judgement and decision-making skills 
•    Confidence in suggesting calculated risks 
•    Multi-region / market exposure and experience
•    Understanding of KPIs that achieve success within an online retail organisation
•    Experience interpreting reports and data

Expected Salary Range: $49,000 - $65,000

Salary will be negotiated based on relevant skills and experience.
