E-commerce Assistant Manager

Reports to: Country Manager

The Role

The Ecommerce Assistant Manager role will help to oversee the Watchfinder US Marketplace in order to incrementally grow Watchfinder’s revenue and GMV YoY. The Ecommerce Assistant Manager has a proven track record of ecommerce and Marketplace operations and account ownership. Demonstration of strong cross organization communication (internal and external stakeholder management) and project tracking experience are essential. The Ecommerce Assistant Manager will help to drive continual operational improvement for the US Marketplace. Success will be measured by delivering GMV (Gross Merchandise Value) growth, enhancing margin, attracting and retaining 3P Sellers, 3P inventory growth, supporting in developing US Marketplace propositions delivering ancillary revenue streams, improving overall sales & servicing operations and delivering an excellent customer experience.

Specific tasks

  • Oversee and coordinate the Watchfinder US Marketplace, driving YoY growth in a sustainable way
  • Support the management of US Marketplace programs for 3P Sellers to grow revenue across a portfolio of digital platforms; the Watchfinder US Marketplace and enhanced by partnerships and external platform integrations
  • Analyse overall US Marketplace performance data, delivering insights and create continues improvement and revenue growth
  • Leverage existing internal and external relationships to prioritize US Marketplace feature development to help improve customer experience and drive growth
  • Operate assortment needed by the business, and perform permanent competition to identify new 3P Sellers and understand their commercial strategy
  • Support in defining the strategy to recruit, onboard and retain US based 3P Sellers
  • Onboarding of new sellers: train sellers to the back-office, functional tools and to quality criteria
  • Follow the Sellers after go-live until they reach full autonomy: monitor their commercial and logistic performance, help them to be successful
  • Work with the US Marketplace Team and US Country Manager to identify operational improvements
  • Support in developing US Go-2-Market strategies for growing the Watchfinder US Marketplace
  • Be a true ambassador of Watchfinder’s US Marketplace to all internal and external stakeholders

 

Requirements

  • Master’s degree and equivalent work experience required
  • Minimum of 2-4 years Marketplace, ecommerce and online sales & marketing experience or related industry experience
  • Passionate about watches and luxury industry
  • Strong understanding of Certified Pre Owned (CPO) industry and US landscape
  • In-depth knowledge of the top tier ecommerce Marketplaces is required
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, strong execution and team player
  • Strong PowerPoint, Excel and data management analytics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in English

Expected Salary Range: $80,000 - $85,000

Salary will be determined based on relevant skills and experience.
