With thousands of watches available from more than 50 brands, including Rolex, Omega, IWC and more, plus boutiques across the UK and a manufacturer certified service centre, Watchfinder has established itself as the top pre-owned watch specialist.

Reporting to our CEO, you will be a key member of our Leadership Team with direct responsibility for our efforts to grow awareness globally and increase market share by developing a best in class performance and brand marketing strategy across a complex and geographically dispersed channel mix. 


In addition, you will work closely with other members of the Company's senior team such as our CFO, and Heads of Retail & Operations, Creative and IT departments. The current Marketing functions are currently performed by a hight efficient and result-focussed team focused on creative direction, web content, PPC, Display, SEO, Social Media and PR. 


The successful candidate will be a senior marketing leader with a proven track record in leading marketing strategy and execution and driving growth. 




Customer intelligence and insight: build depth of customer understanding and empathy and ensure that our marketing experiences exceed customer expectations and needs. 


Brand Strategy: Definition of brand values and beliefs and responsible for execution across all consumer touchpoints. 


Grow awareness of the Watchfinder brand in key markets: Build out a framework that enables us to clearly articulate what our brand represents globally but also how this should be localised. 


Campaign Management & Planning: Plan and deliver high impact brand campaigns across all consumer touchpoints, working across the marketing matrix to deliver co-ordinated campaigns. 


Brand Advertising: Creation of brand advertising strategies and the development of creative campaign ideas. 


Media Planning: Oversee planning for traditional media channels and digital/programmatic 


Demand Generation: Lead the implementation and management of Watchfinder performance campaigns; paid search, display, paid social and affiliate marketing. 


Capability Development: Work closely with internal and external resources to build out our online marketing capabilities in order to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our campaigns 


Demand P&L Ownership: Achieving all key performance targets for the performance channels, including revenue and ROI


CRM & Loyalty: Build on our success in developing long-lasting relationships with our customers


Inspiring Content Marketing: Build a multi-faceted content strategy which spans SEO, Social, PR and Editorial and which allows us to provide inspiring and credible perspectives on pre-owned watches. 


Measurement and effectiveness: Focus on assessing the impact of all initiatives and build optimisation plans to enhance ROI. Build investment cases to support future investments or recommend alternative investment strategies. 



Who are you?

  • A passion and fascination with eCommerce marketing ideally, with 10 years of experience in Performance & Brand Marketing. Delivering significant results in an online retail environment 
  • Commercially focussed and driven with the ability to work towards metrics and manage budgets 
  • Proven track record of leading marketing strategy and execution across multiple high-growth countries with deep cultural awareness in those markets 
  • Demonstratable experience of senior-level stakeholder engagement in a large, corporate environment 
  • A true leader, with a passion for team development and growth 
  • Strong Analytical skills - the ability to break down and solve complex problems.
