We have an exciting, brand new opportunity available for an experienced Software Architect to join our Technology team. You will take the lead in defining the coding standards, tools, platforms and overall structure of the systems developed. 

You will ensure that all applications are using the correct technologies, platforms and frameworks while being deeply involved in the creation of software products. 

 

This role will have an impact on the business from the day you enter the team. You will also work very closely with the product owner and wider development team to understand our current platforms and technologies that we use! 

 

How will you experience success with us? 

 

Technical Design & Delivery 

  • Creat application storyboards and progressing cases into functional applications 
  • Provide estimates for development work and deliver in-line with commitments 
  • Reviewing and generating technical specifications 
  • Implement standards, frameworks and platforms 
  • Ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications and platforms. 


Delivery & Deployment

  • Champion automated delivery methods and ensure that they are used wherever possible 
  • Review delivery processes and make sure that they are auditable and visible
  • Ensure that our recovery models for applications are maintained and are in place 
  • Liaise with Leader Developers, Product Owners and Stakeholders to ensure designs and solutions are fit for purpose and any implications are full explored 
  • Ensure the development of all software products, that time to market, cost and re-work are consistently minimised, whilst quality is improved. 

 

How will you experience success with us? 

 

  • You will have strong development methodologies and project management experience 
  • An expert across Angular, Javascript, Typescript, SCSS, HTML5, Unit Testing, TDD, Web Pack, AWS Platforms, C#, MVC and SQL/T-SQL
  • Strong organisation, accuracy and attention to detail 
  • Ability to manage complex projects.

Due to the current restrictions around Covid-19, It's likely that all interviewing shall be done via video call which our Talent Team shall help & guide you through the platforms that we use. For the successful candidate, we are adapting to WFH initially, with the possibility of returning to the office one or two days per week.
