An exciting opportunity has arisen at Watchfinder HQ for a Marketing Executive to join our Marketing department in Maidstone. The focus of the role will be to support the Head of Marketing and Marketing Manager across all aspects of our marketing activity. The Marketing Executive will gain practical insight in Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), paid media channels and email whilst developing analysis and reporting skills.

 

Duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Establish an understanding of how each individual marketing channel contributes to overall business goals both individually and as part of a wider campaign
  • Acquire knowledge of the role and impact of SEO optimisations through various tools
  • Understand activity across all Pay-Per-Click (PPC) channels, including (but not limited to) paid search, shopping, remarketing, display, and social media, as and when the business chooses to utilise these channels.
  • Develop strategic knowledge of paid media bidding, ad copy structure, keyword selection, and channel optimisations.
  • Organise market research.
  • Keep abreast of industry updates and opportunities, and proactively inform the rest of the team.
  • Ensure that all weekly, monthly & ad hoc reports are produced in a timely and accurate manner.

 

About you…

  • Desire to pursue a marketing career, and a willingness to learn about the various digital channels
  • Previous experience within an agency, in-house or media owner an advantage but not required.
  • Degree educated, or some relevant marketing experience in either a professional or personal capacity.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Data-Driven, specifically performance marketing data
  • Results-driven and dynamic
  • Reacting intelligently and responding to unforeseen requests
