We have an exciting, brand-new opportunity to kick off 2021! We are seeking a passionate, certified Data Analyst to join our Technology team at Watchfinder! The successful candidate will embark on a new journey on the newly created data team that turn data into information, information into insight and insight into key business decisions. 

 

How will you make an impact? 

You will use your expert knowledge in Data Analysis and Power BI to extract and analyse data from multiple sources to help assess performance levels, trends and opportunities the Watchfinder business. We're searching for someone who has experience with designing and producing MI and has advanced excel skills and working with SQL server. 

 

You will develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality. You will work very closely with SME's across the business, acquire data from primary and secondary data sources to help maintain databases/systems. 

You are a keen innovator, and love to locate and define new process improvement opportunities. 

 

How will you experience success with us? 

  • Experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst 
  • Strong abilities in PowerBi
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
  • Strong knowledge and experience in reporting packages (Business Objects), databases (SQL etc) programming (XML, Javascript or ETL Frameworks)
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
  • Strong Analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

Due to the current restrictions around Covid-19, it's likely that all interviewing shall be done via Video Call software. Our Talent team shall help & guide you through these processes and how to get connected. For the successful applicant, we are adopting a WFH approach initially, with the possibility of returning to the office one or two days per week.
