How will you make an impact?

 

As a Compliance Assistant you will be responsible for the security checking of payments, chargebacks and finance applications of customers. This position requires both financial and administrative work to maintain the flow of transactions and the prevention of any fraudulent activity.

 

You will be expected to complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner with the ability to manage your own workload well.

 

You must be well organised and confident in communicating with individuals both internally and externally therefore customer service is also key. Within this role you must be proactive and able to work upon your own initiative whilst taking ownership of decisions.

 

How will you experience success with us?

 

We believe in working collaboratively and your contributions will add value in how efficient we are in the department.

  • Daily upkeep of the Payments team email and telephone lines.
  • Administration of signed finance applications; checking, applying and authorising of this.
  • Checking of all UK and international transactions processed as well as the clearance of security checks before dispatching goods. 
  • Communicating with both UK and international customers to resolve any discrepancies with a positive outcome.
  • Using in-house fraud tools for all international payments.
  • Ensuring all payments taken by Watchfinder meet appropriate security criteria as well as escalating any discrepancies where appropriate.
  • Requesting funds from our finance provider for dispatched goods.
  • Logging, investigating and responding to any chargebacks or fraud analysis requests received with appropriate input from Watchfinder’s legal department.
