Role insight

This exciting role will see you at the heart of our Purchasing hub based in Hong Kong. Reporting to the Sales and Purchasing Lead you will be responsible for the office's daily operation as dispatch, stock control and general admin. works plus assist authentication of all watches arriving into the showroom, using expert attention to detail you will inspect all new Watchfinder stock assessing the watch exterior, and detailing any knocks, marks or dents. Working closely with manufacturers you will obtain quotations or work needed, manage the approval process, coordinate and dispatch watches in an efficient and timely manner.

  • Ensure proper movement of products in/out of the Showroom including, but not limited to: shipments, transfers, consignments and movement throughout the boutique while maintaining quality control and preventing stock losses
  • Assist with inventory control processes (e.g. daily/weekly/monthly counts and stock movements) to ensure a successful inventory. (Stock Audits & Daily Stock Counts)
  • Conducting the inspection process of all new potential Watchfinder stock
  • Sending watches between HK and international markets, inter-company transfers and managing the deliveries to and from the showroom, including the careful handling of goods, administration and paperwork.
  • Warranty inspection process – You will need to complete a diagnosis process to identify faults with the warranty return.
  • Processing work upon notifications given by managers as to how watches are to be repaired and made ready for sale.
  • Ensure the status of all watches dispatched is up-to-date on our internal management system
  • Liaise with members of staff to keep them up to date with due dates, delays etc.
  • Identify and deal proactively with any delays or problems that may arise.

  • Able to communicate effectively over the phone, via email and face-to-face.
  • Vigilant, ability to identify problems before they arise. This should be dealt with in a quick and professional manner and not to delay customers on updates.
  • Conscientious, someone who understands customer requirements and has worked in a customer-focused role.
  • Ability to multi-task, can-do attitude and enjoy working within a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to follow processes and procedures.
