Role Insight

An exciting opportunity has become available for a meticulous and results driven Store Manager to lead the team in Geneva.

Demonstrating exceptional people management skills, you will motivate and inspire your team to successful results. Coaching and developing your team is key as we are looking for somebody that can nurture top talent and produce results through effective management.

With excellent organizational skills and a structured approach, you will run the business in a compliant and safe way. You will leave no stone unturned in maximising store performance whilst providing an outstanding level of service to your clients.

Thanks to your discipline, you will be able to understand and manage complexity, reviewing the processes to make them more efficient.

On top of this you will utilise your expert sales and negotiation skills, carving out sales opportunities with walk in clients and those that are repeat customers.

As a Store Manager at Watchfinder you are a role model for the team, leading the way to positive results and demonstrating a passion for our products.


Duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Managing your new team by guiding and motivating employees to increase sales and drive store success
  • Managing the training of members of staff
  • Coaching your team and monitoring performance through planning and development areas
  • Appraising positive results achieved by employees
  • Focusing on building up a solid and long-term client database
  • Ensuring compliance with the policy and the safety rules
  • Ensuring that customer experience is tailored to Watchfinder brand standards
  • Coordinating daily meetings, appointment planning and reports (daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly)
  • Overseeing and assisting in stock takes
  • Responsible for merchandising the store so that all display cabinets are always full and presentable
  • Organising special promotions, displays and events to raise store and brand awareness
  • Overseeing and being accountable for cash handling and the tills
  • Managing PDQ receipts – storage and transportation
  • Regularly liaising with the Country Manager to discuss, review and implement necessary changes to strategic or procedural planning


All Staff Responsibilities:

  • Manage dressing the store every morning / packing away in the evening whilst ensuring that the store is clean, tidy and well always well presented,
  • Dealing with customer who visit or call the store to enquire or purchase as well as online customer contact,
  • Adhering to all company policies and procedures with a strong focus on safety
  • Managing on-going “live” orders to ensure customers are kept up to date post-sale.
  • Processing returns received in store (for warranty or refund / exchange)
  • Welcoming and serving customers who are collecting online orders in the store.


About you…

  • At least 5 years as Store Manager within a retail environment or similar industry such as Automotive or Real Estate or Hospitality
  • Excellent in the ability to coach and develop your team, achieving successful results
  • Strong discipline and organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Client centricity mindset driven by a strong empathy
  • Proven track record within a target driven sales environment
  • Strong negotiation skills, ideally with experience in dealing with part exchange
  • Good understanding and practice of HR procedures
  • Experience in recruitment and selection process when hiring new staff
