MAIN PURPOSE
Key player of the ambitious development plan of Van Cleef & Arpels in South East Asia, the Media and Digital Assistant Manager is in charge of developing the Maison image, awareness and collections’ visibility in South East Asia, with uncompromising quality, excellence and creativity. This role will be based in Singapore.

 

Under the supervision of the Communications Manager, he/she is proposing and implementing comprehensive Media and Digital strategy and action plans.

 

In his/her capacity, he/she is required to interact closely with Media agencies, PR, Events, Marketing, Retail, Finance, regional/ HQ teams, and boutiques’ landlord marketing team to ensure holistic Maison’s visibility, both online and offline.  

    

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
    
    Key result area 1: DIGITAL 
    
Digital Strategy & Culture
•    Devise a holistic digital customer journey and continuously optimize it for an enchanting experience of the Maison while following guidelines from               HeadQuarters & Regional office
•    Understand the digital media landscape and consumer behavior in SEA including local specificities in digital development
•    Be a key player in the digital luxury environment, in tune with trends and updates
•    Communicate and share a digital culture with all departments within SEA (newsletter / meetings highlights …)

 

Digital Advertising
•    Plan & Manage execution of the Digital Media plan every year with local media agencies (include review of Agency proposals, Regional validations,           execution follow up and post campaign reports – including Google Analytics)
•    Manage SEM strategy for the region through local media agencies. Review monthly reports and provide strategic orientation for optimization and               improvement of KPIs
•    Devise media tactics with agency to further grow digital presence and interactions serving business needs 
•    Responsible for Digital Advertising budget: accounting processing / follow up and monthly reporting


Social Media
•    Create a relevant and engaging social media calendar for SEA. Develop Asia-specific content (text and images), obtain validation from Regional office       and execute on local level.
•    Ensure protocol is followed for online reputation issues and propose suggestions to maintain brand image in the digital realm. 
•    Embark on the development of Social Media daughter page /official account in local language / local market when relevant (Thailand …) 

 

E-Commerce
•    Prepare E-commerce development for Singapore to support launch and drive traffic to the site. 
    
    
    Key result area 2: MEDIA ADVERTISING 
    
 Media plan 
•    Strategize & coordinate the annual media plans – both print and digital - (from initial brief to validation and execution by media agency). Understand            and reflect local market specificities & level of maturity throughout media plan process.
•    Make subsequent plan revisions for marketing programs and new initiatives. Constantly maintain and monitor position performance, quality in special         executions and advertorials, key title partnership for improved and optimum SOV performance
•    Ensure media plans are updated by agency on a monthly basis to ensure consistency with HQ / regional
•    Contribute to the yearly strategic plan by integrating all media and digital needs / strategy of the markets

 

Media culture
•    Monitor regionally the media marketplace to stay abreast of trends, identify opportunities and emerging issues 
•    Foster productive relationships with media buying firms and sales representatives from key media outlets and agency to negotiate to the advantage of       Maison’s business needs.

 

Performance analysis
•    Analyze results of media efforts and develop measures of success
•    Ensure monthly reporting on SOV and compare vs editorial efforts including ranking vs competitors
•    Benchmark the ROI on paid advertising vs the editorial support market by market to provide data to communications manager
•    Schedule timely updates to share Post campaign insights with Marketing & Comms Director and wider team when suitable

 

Budget
•    Responsible for Media Advertising budget: accounting processing / follow up and monthly reporting
     (Track media budgets and maintaining accurate spending forecasts; Consolidation of the media budget per product/campaign split) 
•    Follow monthly A&P reporting for Media Advertising budget and report timely to management 
•    Compliance of financial regulations on submission of invoices and payment processing
