REPORTING TO: Retail Director

The Key responsibilities of this Deputy Retail Director is to develop and optimize the performance of Retail network and lead the Retail Operations and Boutique teams for operational excellence which should be in line with the Maison strategy.   


Key responsibility 1 :  Performance Management

-    Retail budget/ boutique target set-up and management
-    Monitor and revise weekly / monthly / quarterly sales forecast
-    Develop commercial action plans with each store to increase sales growth and acheive major Retail KPIs
-    Review Boutique FTE Analysis and do regular meeting/coaching with boutique managers
-    Commission scheme : Scheme development and management
-    Competitors’ analysis (opening/closing, sales and activities, Landlord news and so on)
-    Manage and lead the execution of promotion activities in collaboration with related teams to drive client development activities (Department store DM, in store event and so on) 

Key responsibility 2:   People Management   

-    Recruiting (interview, hiring) and staffing planning including transfer and promotion
-    People & Talent Management of Retail operations team and whole boutique teams
-    Appraisal of Retail boutique staffs(60-70 staffs including boutique managers)
-    Manage HR issues for boutique staffs

Key responsibility 3  : Network Management 

-    Implement of network strategy and planning throughout retail network supporting Managing Director and Retail Director 
-    Negotiation with landlords regarding business development and retail operations
-    Manage boutique projects: opening, renovation, extension, relocation, etc.
-    Management of Lease Agreement, and other official letters related to Landlords

Key responsibility 4  : Boutique Operations Management

-    Maintain Maison’s high standards of boutique operations, client service level, and boutique maintenance 
-    Sales inquiry follow up and approval according to Maison Policy (exchange, return, deposit and so on)
-    Monitor all group and brand guidelines maintained by boutiques coordinating with Richemont Compliance team 
-    Customer complaint handling including legal part

-    Bachelor degree or above
-    At least  +12 years of relevant work experience in retail industry (luxury preferred)
-    Fluent in Korean and English
-    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required
-    Enriched experience in people management
