What are our expectations? 

 

The Regional Trainer at Van Cleef & Arpels is responsible for the development of transversal training strategies that align with business priorities, implementation and deployment of content, assessment, and facilitation. There is a high focus on customization of training/coaching plans based on analysis, people development to engage knowledge retention and supporting the adoption of competencies.  The Regional Trainer partners with retail leaders to identify individual development plans for training and coaching retail teams to promote sales growth potential.  The Regional Trainer leverages digital tools and new technologies to enhance the learning impact, ensures usability and integration into the boutiques.  The role conducts regional needs assessments to identify present and future training needs for elevating sales performance.  The role plans, organizes and executes online and in-person classroom trainings with a “no compromise” attitude, while being prepared for all eventualities and successfully proposing creative solutions when issues may arise. This person will report to the Director of Training and is based in Chicago.  

 

The Regional Trainer strategizes the short and long-term goals of all training initiatives and regional action plans and communicates measurable results.  The role requires one to embody a learner’s mindset and demonstrate strong curiosity to integrate new and creative ideas into existing programs.  The role must foster a culture of learning by engaging with teams, delivering impactful trainings, and managing the onboarding journey for new hires.  The Regional Trainer takes ownership of all training activities from conception to execution phases and delivers high quality content and cultivates an immersive learning environment (programs include, but not limited to, selling ceremony, High Jewelry training, product training, leadership and cultural enrichment.  The role must manage all transversal projects and action plans with strong follow up and continuation of training and coaching initiatives with quarterly measurable results. 

 

Qualifications  

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field is preferred 

  • Three to five years of working in Retail Training and Development or Retail Management is preferred.   

  • Experiences in luxury client experience, leadership, hospitality and/or virtual learning 

  • High level of knowledge and competency of emotional intelligence, communication styles, instructional design, presentation skills and developmental assessments.   

  • Gemological knowledge, Art & Culture experience and DISC & EQI certifications are a plus.   

  • Strong demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and excellent organizational skills are needed 

  • Ability to travel 50% -75% of the time is required 

  • Excellent interpersonal skill, public communication and facilitation skills are needed 

  • Strong written and verbal skills 

  • Ability to work effectively and collaborate with all levels of the organization and must be comfortable working through ambiguity and in a fast-paced environment

Expected Salary Range: $90K-$100K/Yearly 

Salary will be negotiated based on relevant skills and experience. This role is annual bonus eligible
