Talent Manager

Role Overview

 

You are a vital part of the Americas Talent Team, working to implement the Recruitment Strategy and enhance the candidate experience predominantly for boutique level position. In this role you will specifically support Van Cleef & Arpels brand, and report directly to the Talent Director. Your day to day activities consist of approaching, screening and qualifying potential candidates, partnering with our HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers to provide job market awareness, and proactively building a 'ready' talent pipeline; demonstrating end-to-end ownership of the full lifecycle recruitment process. Networking, building relationships, and creating memorable experiences are at teh core of our Talent principles, and we hope you are as excited about finding great, diverse talent as we are.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Recruit:

  • Lead and conduct intake meetings with the hiring managers to understand vacancies, share potential profiles from pipeline, define the interview cadence, and share labor market intelligence.
  • Interview potential candidates against position specific competencies and behaviors for current vacancies, conduct exploratory calls to identify high-potential candidates, and establish and maintain relationships with referrals while being the ultimate brand ambassador. 
  • Provide Hiring Managers with a diverse short list of candidates in a timely manner.
  • Establish and maintain a high-touch candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

 

Research:

  • Proactively build talent pipelines leveraging our social media, job boards, our ATS, and field recruitment – including consistent outreach to passive candidates in support of developing robust talent pools for future vacancies.
  • Understand and communicate labor market trends, regional compensation benchmarks, and talent availability.
  • Identify and recommend innovative recruitment initiatives, best practices, and digital enhancements. 

 

Partner:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with Hiring Managers to understand their needs, create an interview matrix, provide market feedback, and consistently communicate updates throughout the interview process.
  • Work closely with Talent Directors to create recruitment strategies by Maison/function and function to minimize time to fill.
  • Participate in staffing committees and talent sharing meetings to identify and highlight strong candidates, facilitate talent exchanges, and maintain a robust internal talent pipeline.
  • Work closely with our Talent Specialists to ensure data integrity and qualiy job postings.
  • Engage and manage external vendors utilized on key searches.
  • Contribute to global/HQ initiatives by partnering with Talent colleagues across Maisons and in other regions.
  • Co-create tools and resources to support our Hiring Managers in delivering a best-in-class candidate experience, partnering with HR colleagues to upskill Hiring Managers as needed.

 

Report:

  • Track and communicate interviews, placements, retention, and agency submissions/spend in accordance with our defined talent acquisition operating model and process flow.
  • Utilize and maintain our ATS, providing detailed notes and submissions on candidates, facilitating the interview/hiring process, and building our talent pools.
  • Present regular updates to Executives and senior leadership on recruitment activity.

 

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in retail recruitment; You must be able to manage a high requisition count (20+), while maintaining strong relationships with candidates and internal clients. Field experience with an emphasis on high-volume recruitment of sales associates is preferred.

  • You must have the ability to work across time zones, maintaining flexibility in your approach to meet the needs of boutique level and corporate leaders.
  • We use our ATS/Recruitment module, social media, digital platforms, and Microsoft (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) daily so you must be digitally savvy.
  • It's human resources - integrity and confidentiality are a must.
  • A few more things we look for: flexibility to adapt quickly, empathy in working with people and challenging circumstances, ability to influence and negotiate, and strong presentation skills. 

 

Richemont Americas is based in New York City with offices in Midtown East. This role is a hybrid schedule.

Expected Salary Range: $115,000 to $130,000

Salary will be negotiated based on relevant skills and experience.
