The Visual Merchandising Specialist at Van Cleef & Arpels is responsible for consistently updating in store visual merchandising with high attention to detail and ensure that all Van Cleef & Arpels Visual Guidelines are being implemented in the 5th Avenue Flagship boutique.  The Specialist will create and implement boutique zoning with the Boutique Director and communicate with the Visual, Marketing and PR teams to replace/update merchandise on display and anticipate product moves, photo shoots and consignments.  The Specialist will work with boutique teams on Visual Merchandising and ensure correct PLV and signage is displayed.  The role is responsible fore creating weekly and quarterly visual updates.  The role also requires usage of the RFID system to move items to display or understock and will work with the Operations team and security on all product movement. 


The Visual Merchandising Specialist is asked to coordinate and implement Visual Merchandising needs around all events and launches and be onsite at events and photo shoots to assist with Visual Merchandising needs. The Visual Merchandising Specialist will also support Client Presentation Setup and remerchandising of vitrines if necessary.  This role will liaise with the Operations Manager for maintenance needs and report ordering needs to Retail Operations.  The role will maintain the library appearance and work with the florist to make sure weekly flower deliveries follow guidelines, are fresh and are delivered on time. 


Qualifications for this role include 3 years in a fast-paced luxury and/or visual background and a Bachelor’s Degree or Jewelry Certification is preferred.  The Visual Merchandising Specialist will be required to have proficiency in Microsoft Suite – specifically PowerPoint and Excel and expertise in Illustrator and Photoshop is a plus.  The Specialist must be enthusiastic, professional and be able to receive constructive criticism.  The candidate must be proactive, open to frequent updates and take quality photos.  The Specialist will occasionally work outside of regular hours to support events and should have direct merchandising and in store experience with extreme attention to detail – experience with fine jewelry is a plus.  The specialist will be a team player and have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels within the Company.  At this time, we are not sponsoring work visas.  Applicants must have valid work authorization for employment is the USA.
