For this role, we are looking for the ideal candidate to have a college degree in Business or an MBA, coupled with a background in consulting, financial analysis, and project management. The candidate should have a minimum of four years of prior experience, preferably within the luxury sector, demonstrating curiosity, and outside-the-box thinking to discover new information and trends, presenting recommendations in an executive manner. The ability to produce sophisticated presentations and materials is essential, alongside strong strategic, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Moreover, the candidate should possess strong project management skills that balance technical collaboration with Finance, Store Planning, and Sales Performance with creative solutions. Excellent listening and communication skills are crucial, as well as the ability to problem-solve effectively. The role also requires the capacity to travel, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and manage several projects simultaneously with attention to detail.

 

What are we expecting from you?

Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Store Planning, you will contribute to the strategic vision and evolution of boutique network growth of the Maison, as well as research and implement new areas of potential business for Van Cleef & Arpels in the Americas.  You will partner with the Senior Vice President, Retail, the Store Planning team and the Retail Operations and Performance teams to identify new business opportunities for the Maison. 

In this role, you will:

 

  • Evaluate and understand the boutique footprint in its environment by reviewing competition, profitability, and real estate development.
  • Gather market intelligence to provide feedback and recommendations to leadership to confirm market potential.
  • Support identification and review of possible new market locations, identifying “best in class” locations.
  • Assist in building investment requests for HQ partnerships.
  • Develop market analysis and summarize competitors' business trends.
  • Forecast sales and identify necessary resources, including headcount and construction CAPEX.
  • Partner with Finance to work on P&L scenarios, collecting data from various departments and stakeholders.
  • Support in creating management presentations to address strategic objectives, summarize findings, and make recommendations for boutique network development.
  • Maintain accurate tracking of retail lease information, construction timelines, and approval processes.
  • Partner with Store Planning, Real Estate, Retail Performance, and Finance in evaluating P&L feasibility and organizing the project pipeline.

Expected Salary Range- $115k-$120k

 

This role is annual bonus eligible.
