Role Overview

 

The Manager, Client Development supports the Client Development department for Van Cleef & Arpels Americas. In this role, the candidate will report directly to the Senior Manager of Client Development.

This role is responsible for the rollout of the Americas CRM strategy & Clienteling programs. They liaise with Global CRM, local regional Client Development Managers, and local retail teams to build a relevant and client centric outreach plan, ultimately driving client loyalty to the Maison. The role is based in New York.   

 

Responsibilities 

 

Manage the CRM & ECRM Contact Plan  

  • Partner with Local & HQ counterparts to define objectives, content and launch of 50+ campaigns (50+ emails & 4 portfolio mailings) per year  
  • Collaborate to define client targeting depending on HQ guidelines, client insight findings and local needs and strategy  
  • Analyze and report on campaign efficiency, key learnings, and improvements   
  • Communicate with internal teams (boutiques, corporate) on the tools and the learnings  
  • Adapt tools for the Latin America Markets   
  • Collaborate with Client Insights to build a personalized and targeted client outreach plan for identified client segment  
  • Share internally the updated contact plan to ensure alignment with product launch strategy and product availability   

  

Develop clientelling strategy and action plans for retail  

  • Build and implement clientelling strategy for retail, including but not limited to clienteling time, clienteling programs, clienteling app usage
  • Ensure optimal use of clienteling tools by providing feedback and prioritizing Americas region needs with HQ
  • Train and refresh retail on the Clienteling App and strategies
  • Partner with regional client development managers to meet clientelling and loyalty objectives  

  

Support local activations through CRM actions  

  • Local projects include: L’ECOLE, Installations, New boutique Openings, Pop Ups etc. 
  • Work with cross-functional teams and HQ counterparts to develop strategy and tools
  • Analyze results for CRM actions  
 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree   
  • 5-7 years of CRM, client experience or client service  
  • Excellent computer and organizational skills are required  
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to be proactive are required  
  • Excellent project management skills  
  • Ability to represent the Maison to internal and external clients  
  • Flexibility to travel as needed  
  • Ability to multi-task work independently and with a team is essential

Expected Salary Range: $90K-$105K/yearly.

This role is annual bonus eligible.
