Van Cleef & Arpels FP&A Senior Manager- New York    


Role Overview

The Van Cleef & Arpels FP&A Senior Manager will aide in the planning, monitoring and analysis of the financial activity for the VCA Americas entity, with a specific focus on the Retail Network. 



Key responsibility 1: Prepare accurate financial statement forecasts for the VCA retail network in the Americas:
  • Quantifying key strategic decisions related to the retail network and incorporating into the financial forecast in the annual budget (BU) plan and quarterly (LE) revisions.  The forecasts include anticipating all financial impacts including expense, CAPEX and Cash.
  • Implement tools and processes to analyze expense evolutions and prepare monthly reporting to various levels of management, including Retail budget owners, local and HQ Finance management on performance versus budget, LE, PY. 
  • Recommendations and guidance on actions necessary to achieve financial targets, manage cost, and explore synergy and efficiency opportunities within operations and across the network.
  • Coordinate the BU and LE process with Finance and Retail Management, including international team members when necessary.
Key responsibility 2: Prepare presentations for various levels of management, as applicable:
  • Provide clear and accurate financial analysis to support executive management materials, such as quarterly forecast packages, strategic plans, and budget presentations
  • Prepare packages for business reviews for both HQ and within the Maison to local budget owners
Key responsibility 3: Perform tasks to support special projects as assigned:
  • Working collaboratively across functions to identify and vet new opportunities, including building business cases, performing feasibility and returns analysis, and establishing and tracking financial performance targets
Key responsibility 4: Coordinate requests from local, regional and/or Group and collaborate with Finance and Retail Management..



  • BA/BS degree Finance/Accounting,


Required experience:

  • At least 5-10 years of experience in finance and or accounting in a Retail environment
  • Strong base knowledge of accounting, finance, and operations principles
  • Strong finance/analytical background with and the ability to leverage this knowledge to navigate complex operational and financial issues
  • Proven ability to work with all levels of an organization and foster cross departmental relationships
  • Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing circumstances. Able to proactively question and challenge to prioritize and identify solutions in timely manner
  • Must be able to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and organize workload to meet organizational timelines in a fast paced, very high-growth environment


Technical skills / abilities:

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills especially in Microsoft Excel and ERP (SAP strongly preferred).
  • Excellent analytical skills with a thorough understanding of reporting and processes.
  • Willingness to dive deep into the details while keeping an eye on the bigger picture will be critical to finding creative solutions and providing insights to the company’s leadership and business partners.
  • Previous experience with luxury consumer products desired.
  • Previous knowledge of SAP and comfort with BI reporting systems (power BI, Anaplan, SAC) is a plus.
