Role Overview

 

For over 100 years, Van Cleef & Arpels’ passion has enlivened its High Jewelry creations and has since established itself as THE reference High Jewelry Maison in the luxury sphere.  The High Jewelry Client Development Team is instrumental in sustaining the growth of the high jewelry client database as well as supporting the fundamentals of this pillar to ensure increasing success.

 

Reporting to the Director of High Jewerly Client Development and based in in New York, your role as Assistant Manager, High Jewelry Client Development will encompass various responsibilities in the implementation of High Jewelry action plans for the Americas.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Support boutique network in their needs linked to High Jewelry sales: With emphasis on Managing all Certificate of Authenticity related to a High Jewelry sale, and Managing any and all special order box requests 
  • Publishing monthly High Jewelry Newsletters which includes compilations of (success stories on) High Jewelry sales made prior month, special anecdotes and market studies
  • Supporting in the implementation of larger High Jewelry client treatments (events) and experiences, both locally and internationally, including logistics of print materials (invitations), other tools such a itineraries for activations, organizing – purchasing bespoke gifts and shipping of gifts prior, during, post events and holidays and special occasions
  • Supporting in logistics of ad hoc requests for any VIP client experience needed by boutique or internal client
  • Supporting in logistics of local and regional High Jewelry Boards and meetings (to include securing accommodations, meeting spaces, catering, travels and transportation)
  • Assist in market and industry research assignments
  • Work transversally with Communications, Marketing and Client Relations Departments for the preparation of VIP trips, High Jewelry related events and special VIP treatment and activations

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelors Degree in related areas
  • 2-3 years of related experience
  • Previous experience in luxury products required
  • Previous experience in jewelry industry is preferred
  • Excellent computer (and Microsoft suite) skills are required
  • Consistent use of PowerPoint for presentation design and Excel for data manipulation
  • Emphasis on details
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to be proactive is required
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and with a team is essential
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required
  • Flexibility to travel as needed
  • Interest in arts and travel is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to speak several languages is welcome

Expected Salary Range: $77K - $90K/yearly

 

This role is annual bonus eligible.
