For this role, we are seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree and over five years of experience in managing events or hospitality within the Luxury or Jewelry sector. Excellent communication skills and a self-motivated attitude are essential. We are looking for a proactive, flexible, innovative, and passionate individual capable of anticipating the needs of both the boutique and the team. This candidate must have a proven ability to prioritize tasks while managing multiple projects concurrently. A keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills are crucial. This role requires the ability to travel 50% of the time, covering both domestic and international destinations, and the willingness to work outside of normal business hours. We are interested in individuals with the potential for future development within the Maison. The candidate should possess a strong working knowledge of the Windows environment, including Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with SAP is a plus, as well as proficiency in CAD, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop. French language skills are also considered a plus.
What are we expecting from you?
The (Temporary) Regional Events Manager based in New York is responsible for communicating and implementing large-scale, high-end event communication initiatives throughout the Americas Region, with a focus on the New York and Northeast Regions. Projects include VVIP dinners, cocktails, evening conversations, and catering animations around key moments as well as support on large scale corporate initiatives and special projects taking place in the New York and Northeast regions. The role will also support events outside the NY/NE region when needed in order to maintain a consistent and manageable scope across the entire Regional Events Team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
- Play a significant role in planning all aspects of corporate and local strategic events at the boutique level such as VVIP dinners, luncheons, cocktail parties, evening conversations and special animations.
- Build and maintain an active communication calendar of programs, events and ROI
- Assist in the development of event concepts and implement from start to finish components including décor, catering, entertainment, models, animations, etc.
- Incorporate feedback from all key internal stakeholders throughout the development process
- On-site event management and execution
- Manage production agencies and vendors to ensure execution is in line with the Maison’s guidelines, strategic objectives and budget
- Contract and negotiate with vendors to ensure the best pricing and maximum performance
- Collaboration with legal and procurement to ensure completion of all necessary documentation and adherence to compliance protocol
- Develop network of trusted vendors and partners in key markets
- Create and monitor budgets for network programs and maintain on a monthly basis
- Gather, submit, review and approve invoices
- Nurture relationships with Regional Directors and boutique leadership to ensure successful execution of events locally
- Present event concepts and collaborate cross-departmentally to ensure that events are successful from a 360 standpoint
- Compile event recaps and apply best practices and learnings to enhance future projects
