What do we expect from you?

 

The Regional High Jewelry Director is responsible to increase the High Jewelry turnover overall in Asia Pacific and in each market of APA, increase and secure the talent pool selling High Jewelry in all markets of the Asia Pacific Region and the number of clients contributing to the High Jewelry turnover.   
Reporting to the Retail Director Asia Pacific, and as a key member of the regional retail team the director develops the sales associates contributing to HJ sales and implement action plans to develop and secure HJ sales in the Asia Pacific while protecting the Maison Image.

The Regional HJ Director contributes to the Yearly Plan and 3 year Plan content for APA, contributes to implement the retail strategy of the Maison and supports Retail actions at the local and regional level.
 

Development of High Jewelry talent pool:  

  • The Regional HJ Director is in charge of developing the number of Sales Associate selling High Jewelry in APA and improve their performance
  • Animates the activity of the HJ community through the animation of boards (local and Regional)
  • Identifies potential HJ SA, inside and outside the Maison, and contributes to discuss development plans for existing talent
  • Contributes to help HJ SA to develop their client portfolio (e.g. reach a minimum of x HJ client per SA)
  • Follows Sales commitments conversion in deposits and invoicing
  • Facilitate sharing of best practices within the region through the HJ community and through the active contribution to the overall retail strategy
  • Identify and share relevant information to help develop HJ performance (relevant info on competition actions and performance, Auctions’ results, activities in the field of Art and Culture …)

 

Development of HJ Client base:
    

  • The Regional HJ Director proposes actions to recruit new HJ clients, identify target HNWI to be approached and puts action plans in place
  • Proposes and implements partnerships or event participation in order to recruit new HJ clients and increase performance (e.g. unit price spending, overall annual turnover by client) with existing clients.
  • Coaches SA / retail manager community in order to improve HJ client recruitment and performance in coordination with the training and Client Care department
  • Monitors performance and report to APA executive committee on HJ client recruitment and existing HJ client trends and Sales associates performance
  • Makes regular proposition to improve efficiency and quality of HJ clienteling actions implemented by the Maison in cooperation with local, regional and International teams.
  • Contributes to the discussion on permanent improvement of commission scheme in order to support HJ turnover development and retention of best performers.

 

Retail strategy, action plans and performance monitoring:

  • Achieve close cooperation in particular with marketing and communication team (local, regional and international) to identify needs and optimize stock strategy for each market and define the best event strategy to adapt event format to the specific context of each market and their specific targets
  • Thanks to HJ performance analysis and collaboration with retail, marketing and supply chain functions define retail priorities and set relevant objectives with local retail teams, propose ideas and solutions to grow the HJ business
  • Support and follow up the deployment of retail action plans based on market needs (specific boutique actions, HJ retail incentives, etc…)
  • Work in close collaboration with CRM departments to create synergy and consistency in the overall retail approach (ie client analysis, performance benchmarking and training priorities of sales teams)
  • Accompany HQ in the development of HJ projects and to align regional initiatives with global standards
  • Analyzes of HJ performance indicators and controlling report to implement best practices. 
  • Works in direct relation with client care, marketing and merchandising department to leverage and create synergies in order to improve the performance.
  • Preparation of presentation (strategic plan, business review, retail meeting)
  • Works closely with HQ Retail department
