Boutique Stock Administrator

Permanent position based in Amsterdam, to be filled ASAP

 

 

What do we expect from you?

The Boutique Administrator ensures operational excellence focusing on the effective daily running of the store. Being able to combine both client-facing and back-office activities with agility and grace, the administrator assists the sales team to provide an exceptional experience to clients. This role embodies and represents the Maison’s values at the highest standards.

 

Under the supervision of the Boutique management, he or she in charge of a broad range of activities:

 

OPERATIONS

  • Stock Management - Receive stock (physically & system), transfer pieces to other boutiques, prepares goods for photoshoots, perform regular stock counts

  • Follow-up pieces’ movements within the boutique (CP, safe, ensure items are tagged, etc)

  • Manage re-orders of jewellery boxes/ pouches, shopping bags, certificates and any other material required to support sales activities

  • Order consumables (refreshments, chocolates, flowers, etc)

  • Supports Sales Associates with efficiently keeping clients’ wish list when new stock arrives

  • Provide activity reports (consignment, stock, sales reconciliation, traffic, etc.)

  • Manage cash & bill procedures (POS, bank deposit, etc) when required

  • Ensure the back-office area is properly set-up

  • Comply with Maison’s policies & abide by procedures

  • Ensure good practices on product storage and manipulation

  • Know how to handle HJ pieces (manipulation, stock specifications, transfer requirements)

 

CLIENT EXPERIENCE & IN-STORE JOURNEY

  • Welcome client and ease their waiting (offer drinks, show catalogs, tour of the boutique, inform on waiting time, etc)

  • Handle phone enquiries, CRC emails, reserve appointments

  • Helps organising sales desks and ensures tidiness of the sales floor, jewellery windows with regular checks

 

CUSTOMER SERVICES

  • Manage the CS flows to/from the boutique (send, receive repair to/from workshop)

  • Liaise with Sales Associates about repairs and assists with contacting clients

  • Control all repairs (visual check) at reception

  • Manage spare parts & accessories (inventories, stock control, replenishment)

  • Liaise with workshop and follows up on repairs status

 

MAISON IDENTITY & EXPERTISE

  • Have basic knowledge on High Jewelry, Jewelry, Watchmaking, and Stones (for quality purposes)

  • Develop operational knowledge & skills

  • Contribute to positive team spirit & actively participate in the day-to-day boutique life

  • Provide support for event organization

 

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US? 

  • You are dynamic, flexible, communicative and a good listener.
  • You are passionate about Jewelry and High Jewelry, the Maison universe and art craftsmanship.
  • You are comfortable in a sales environment in boutique in contact with both international and local customers.
  • You are looking for a team spirit environment focusing its energy on clients needs and satisfaction.
  • You speak fluently in Dutch and English and a third language will be a strong plus.
  • You have preliminary experience in sales and in the luxury industry.
