MAIN PURPOSE

Reporting to the ROM, the Area Manager is responsible to support the team lead in completing all commercial sales activities in Macau.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibility 1 - Operations

- Directly supervise internal/external boutiques

- Ensure business partners are following VC standard in terms of product assortment, POS image, pricing & services

- Regular visit boutique and provide feedback

- Control and minimize operational risk

Key responsibility 2 – Sales Management

- Develop area/city action plan to achieve commercial target in terms of qualitative & quantitative aspects

- Provide sales estimate for new product launch

- Analyse and evaluate product sales results, collect and provide qualitative feedbacks

Key responsibility 3 – Strategic Planning

- Collect, elicit, validate and document the business problems, requirements and processes

- Formulate business requirements with stakeholders and functional requirements for strategic solutions

- Turn insights into actionable recommendation, and drive actions to business value creation

- Strategical thinking. Analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills

Key responsibility 4 – Team Management

- Manage boutique managers by monitoring and evaluating performance, and initiate corrective or disciplinary actions

- Inspires and motivate boutique managers to build a cohesive and productive team

 

PROFILE REQUESTED:

• University graduate or equivalent

• 6+ years of experience, preferably in consulting or finance background and with exposure in luxury goods

• Excellent command of the English Language is a must. Cantonese and Mandarin would be an advantage.

• Organized, efficient, analytical, confident and detail oriented.

• A team player with excellent inter-personnel skills.

• A good communicator, able to multitask, to lead & manage projects on own initiative.

• IT savvy (including Word, Power Point, Excel). Excel skill a definite must.
