Retail Area Manager

                                    Retail Area Manager is responsible for Retail Operation Supervision, Retail Reporting, Retail Business Sales Achievement, and Retail Marketing and Business Development of all boutiques in the designated Area. He/she has the responsibility of ensuring that all Boutiques maintain the highest image and service standards of the Boutiques, assure the proper operational functioning, as well as achieve budgeted sales targets.

                                    Retail Area Manager is a Senior Team Coordinator, with good inter-personnel skills, able to communicate at all levels, not only with Boutique Teams and Retail partners but also with other related internal departments and external suppliers. A strong team player, he/she is also capable of taking initiatives to ensure that all Quantitative and Qualitative objectives are met.

REPORTING TO:       Deputy Retail Director, Vacheron Constantin China

 

KEY RELATIONSHIPS:

Internal contacts:

  • Strong functional line of reporting with: Deputy Retail Director
  • He/She will have close communication with: Boutique Managers and Boutique staff on a regular basis
  • He/She will also liaise with the Internal Departments and Richemont Supporting Function Departments

External contacts:

  • Clients
  • Individual business contacts or suppliers
  • Affinity partners

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. Sales
  • BU & LE sales target achievement (FG&CS)
  • Achieve LC sales target
  • Event/shopping mall promotion sales ROI
  • Special focus on low performance boutique improvement
  • Boutique sales KPIs monitor and enhancement
  • Novelty collection pre-sale and improve lady sales share
  • Competitor sales comparison
  1. CRM & Event
  • In-store event organization
  • Coordinate with EC and CRC team for online and phone sales
  • Overseas event coordinate
  • Improve client shopping experience
  • Management CRM fee by monthly
  • Make sales team have strong customer centric sprit and create emotional sales to our clients. Knowing our clients well. Monitor by boutique through CRM convert to sales KPIs
  • Seeking affinity partners to boost extra sales
  1. Compliance & Operation
  • Internal compliance check and SOP execute
  • New opening boutique/pop-up store kick off preparation
  1. People Management & Training
  • Staff Management and development
  • New opening boutique staff training
  • Sales staff recruitment
  • Keep consistence service standard including sales and aftersales clients
  • MSP
  1. After-sale Service
  • Dealing with heavy complaint
  • Take care of in-store CS workshop and watchmakers
  • Liaison with CS team for RO
  • Monitor stock repair and monthly stock watch QC
  • CS client convert to sales
  1. Networks
  • Partnership / Landlord Presentations
  • Shopping mall landlord liaisons
  • Liaison with franchise boutique key person for internalization hand-over work
  • Cross function collaboration

PROFILE:

  • Minimum BA degree and above
  • 8 years or above retail management experience, luxury brands preferred
  • Strong business acumen, aggressive in driving sales and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong team building and leadership skills
  • Good relationship with landlords
  • Strong VICs development experience and skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Great team leader and player, diligent, reliable and responsible
  • Fluency in written and spoken Chinese and English
  • Willing to travel on business
