REGIONAL SALES MANAGER - EAST COAST

 

OVERVIEW:

Responsible for the East Coast independent and national doors within the US & Canada. Directly responsible for monitoring and driving sell through, ensuring a proper assortments in accounts and strong relationships with principals and store personnel. Close collaboration with the Wholesale Director, Operations, Marketing, and Customer Service teams to manage the daily business and ensure that the brand’s image is appropriately represented.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage day-to-day sales activity focusing on the growth of sell-out at each point of sale, across collections.
  • Ensure proper assortments are represented at each account.
  • Responsible for meeting POS sell out ratios and stock rotation KPI’s, evaluating sales data and performance for needed action plans
  • Partner with Operations for product replenishment of stock and sold orders, effectively managing backorders and expectations for deliveries given limited production across collections
  • Coordinate, prepare and present quarterly business reviews with principles and brand management to review sales target and business results and opportunities, using Powerpoint and Excel.
  • Develop strong and long-lasting relationships with principals and all the sales professionals in the wholesale network.
  • Partner with the National Trainer to ensure all independent and national doors are competent in brand history, product knowledge and visual merchandising, training teams as needed when Trainer is not available
  • Support Wholesale Director and President with presentations for market visits (advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills are required).
  • Monitor and directly responsible for brand’s visibility at point of sale and implementation of corners/build-outs with the support from the Wholesale Director and Marketing team
  • Provide consistent quantitative and qualitative market feedback.
  • Work with marketing/communication teams to support independent/national retailer events and coop programming
  • Ensure proper follow-up with Concierge and RTC for after sales issues.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience in Wholesale and/or Retail in the luxury or jewelry/watch industry.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage T&E given the extensive travel required for the position
  • Excellent computer skills, Excel and PowerPoint experience required.
  • A true “customer service” mindset with strong proactive skills.
