Role Overview:

Reporting into the Marketing & Communications Director, the successful candidate will hold full responsibility to execute all marketing activities relating to press and media, digital, and brand partnerships with a communications focus.


To collaborate and elaborate the yearly strategic plan in line with brand guidelines.

To always ensure outstanding brand representation.



To be reference for high-end Watchmaking and ultimate luxury Client Experience across the Americas.

To develop marketing & communication best practices and share them with other markets globally.


Responsible for managing 1 direct report: Assistant Media & Communications Manager


  • Prepare and propose effective media brief for the media agency (including OOH, print, digital and social media) ensuring visibility and positioning to increase brand awareness

  • Responsible for managing and implementing the yearly media plan with the agency

  • Manage the annual production file and ensure the correct copy is received on time for all booked media

  • Liaise with HQ for all necessary approvals

  • Inform retail team of national and international campaign


  • Manage and oversee the social and digital plan creation focusing on brand values, product, and storytelling in line with brand strategy

  • Increase VAC Americas social media and digital presence with partners

  • Enforce a “best-in-class” approach to all content

  • Use all necessary tools such as Google Analytics & Radarly to produce regular digital and social media reports to foster a continuous learning and amplification approach


  • Manage the day-to-day relationship with all PR contacts (journalists, agencies & HQ) – including producing and submitting regular PR reports

  • Establish and maintain a strong working relationship with Communications departments at VC HQ in Geneva

  • Organize Press trips, manufacture visits

  • Attendance at key industry events

  • Inform senior management, commercial & retail teams of key editorial features and trends

  • Management and ownership of the PR calendar


  • Manage all partnerships relating to brand communications and PR, such as celebrity and red carpet

  • Ensure the Maison is always represented in line with best-in-class standards

  • Build a solid network of collaborators that fully understand the brand identity and positioning of the Maison to ensure all secured partnerships have a natural affinity with our DNA


  • Build on process for a sustained competitive intelligence approach and share this knowledge with all relevant teams


  • Media and communication budget and expenses responsibility

  • Monthly reporting to line manager



  • Minimum 5 years’ experience of working at a senior level in a Marketing role – considered profiles from luxury, fashion, and hospitality backgrounds

  • Socially adept professional

  • Results orientated and self-motivated

  • Creative thinker

  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills

  • Meticulous with an eye for detail

  • Excellent oral and writing skills

  • Fluent English prerequisite, another language (French/ Spanish) beneficial

  • Travel requirements regionwide and Europe

Expected Salary Range: $111,120 to $145,000. This role is eligible for bonus.

Salary will be negotiated based on relevant skills and experience.
