MAIN MISSION
The Training Manager is responsible for the successful planning and implementation of all Network training activities.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Formulate a Training Plan for all sales teams
    • Responsible to assess the development needs of sales staff and formulating training plan to be followed throughout the year. The Training Manager segments the population of sales staff to provide relevant trainings to each member depending on their missions and level of expertise.
    • The incumbent also assist in the training records and facilities and providing consultancy and writing reports of training results.
  • Developing and Executing Key Trainings 
    • In partnership with Vacheron Constantin headquarter in Geneva, the Training Manager capitalizes on existing training tools and translates / develops new tools to answer the needs of local teams.  When needed, work with external training partners for developing and executing qualitative trainings.
    • Key areas: Brand Content, Product Knowledge, Sales Techniques, Clienteling and related soft skills such as emotional intelligence and managing client expectations.
  • Coaching of Retail Staff in Collaboration with Boutique In-Charge 
    • Actively listen, observe, and develop sales associates and elevate their sales performance. The Training Manager analyses and debriefs with the boutique in-charge and in-store training in-charge to identify clear axes of improvement and coaching.
  • Partnership with Wholesale & CRC (Client Relationship Center)
    • Work in parallel with the Wholesale and Richemont CRC to ensure all training programs are undertaken in an effective and efficient manner . The Training Manager is to identify training needs and prepare the yearly on-the-job training programs upon business needs. The incumbent also conducts regular Wholesale visits and make necessary recommendations for improvement and assist to develop training materials for wholesale partner and CRC in line with business objectives.
  • Supporting Sales Activities and Affinity Partnership
    • Support as a brand ambassador during client activities and affinity partnership, to ensure sucessful and semaless client journey.  

 

  • Assess the Performance of Training Plan
    • Responsible to assess the efficiency of sales techniques & brand message. The Training Manager should propose actions to fulfil this assessment in a regular and qualitative manner. If and when available, the training manager coordinates with Mystery Shopping plans and capitalise on this technique to assess training needs. The result of this assessment should be shared with brand management of each network.
  • Manage Training Budget
    • The Training Manager is responsible for optimising the training budgets and ensuring a strict respect of the budget.


PROFILE

  • Solid knowledge of Watchmaking and a passion for this industry with 8-10 years relevant experience in Luxury retail and training
  • Previous experience in luxury sales (front-line sales associates) is a plus
  • Able to work independently and persistent in achieving goals of business units.
  • Positive role model and highly self-motivated with great levels of creativity, initiatives and enthusiasm
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to build professional working relationships at all levels balancing needs of all stakeholders internally and externally
  • Fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English
  • The position requires a 50% presence outside the office (within capacity), in Hong Kong, Macau, Hainan and Taiwan, to monitor, coach and support sales performance
