MISSION

 

Through innovation, entrepreneurship and passion the Boutique Manager is responsible for creating a luxurious, visually pleasing environment which communicates the uniqueness of the Roger Dubuis brand, coaching sales teams to deliver extraordinary service that surpasses client expectations, and thereby achieving sales, profit, and strategic objectives.

 

KEY ACTIVITIES

 

Sales and Business Development

  • Constantly coach sales teams on extraordinary service, selling skills and attitude in order to deliver a shopping experience that surpasses client expectations.
  • Lead by example with a majority of time spent on the sales floor and achieving boutique target sales and profitability
  • Involve the entire team in actively building and maintaining boutique client book, following up leads and keeping existing clients active
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to organize and implement in-store and local events with the goal of generating new business opportunities and grow customer base

Product and Competitor Knowledge

  • Ensure that all team members have mastered the Roger Dubuis brand and collection stories and share them with clients
  • Develop sales teams’ knowledge of watchmaking craft and vocabulary, and Roger Dubuis products
  • Ensure sales team familiarity with key competitor brands and product lines

Store Operations

  • Actively ensure the correct application of all store procedures: opening/closing, security, sales and stock
  • Effectively manage store stock (inventory checks, stock level) according to KPIs
  • Guarantee the respect of display and grooming guidelines; ensure impeccable conditions in the boutique

Management and Team Development

  • Successfully recruit, train, and retain new sales associates
  • Identify high-potential associates and develop them for career evolutions within the brand
  • Through coaching, regular touch-bases and annual performance reviews motivate and each team member to reach their objectives and accompany them in their professional development

Business Analysis

  • Constantly monitor KPIs and define and implement action plans to achieve targets
  • Provide monthly qualitative and quantitative business reports to National Sales Manager and corporate team
  • Be familiar with the local market and business environment including competitors’ business activities and luxury market trends

  • You are a senior manager with strong client relationship skills, who professionally grew in a business development position where you have demonstrated a successful sales performance.
  • You are customer service, sales and people driven.
  • You can activate audacious and creative ideas to find and maintain clients.
  • Self-confident, positive and with a winner mindset, you will engage with anyone you deal with, either clients or your team.
  • Candidates who can bring a client portfolio will be prioritized.
  • Your team is your strength; you are a trusting people developer, who can coach and inspire your colleagues.
  • Fluent in English. Second language (ideally Chinese or Arabic) preferred.
