Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Real Estate Senior Manager to join our dynamic team in Tokyo. The ideal candidate will be driven, self-sufficient, and possess exceptional negotiation skills. They will play a pivotal role in managing our real estate portfolio while effectively engaging with various stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the strategic planning and execution of real estate initiatives for all maisons.
  2. Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities for new site acquisitions and assess the viability of current locations.
  3. Negotiate lease agreements and contracts with landlords and property owners to secure favorable terms.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and local authorities.
  5. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management regarding real estate strategies and market trends.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with broader business objectives.
  7. Manage the real estate budget and financial analysis to maximize investment returns.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to inform decision-making.

  1. Driven and self-sufficient, with a proactive approach to challenges.
  2. Native Japanese and business-level English to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders
  3. Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record in securing advantageous real estate deals.
  4. In-depth understanding of the retail real estate landscape, specifically regarding department stores.
  5. Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of fostering collaborative relationships.

 

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in real estate management or a related field, preferably within retail.
  3. Proven experience in negotiating commercial leases and managing real estate portfolios.
  4. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
