Key metrics of the role include:

  • Set Total Reward strategies for the purpose of Talent Acquisition, Attraction and Retention.
  • Set and review Total Reward policies and regulations to ensure compliance to labor law and company governance.
  • Share and communicate Market Intelligence to Exco levels locally, APAC and HQ on Total Reward trend covering SEA&O
  • Regular review of Total Reward for all job types of the Region to ensure competitive for all positions
  • Ensure Regular update the Total Reward policies cross the Region.

 

Compensation Management

  • Review and research compensation tools, surveys, and vendors to identify those that present the best value and appropriateness for Richemont.
  • Develop and continually improve compensation structure in alignment with employee value proposition, pay strategy and local business goals.
  • Identify and manage compensation consultants and contract project work.
  • Collect compensation survey data and benchmarking and participate in surveys to receive reports. Share and able to explain to HRBPs and leaders.
  • Develop long-range objectives regarding compensation strategies and benefit programs in conjunction with the APAC C&B and HQ guidance.
  • Recommend compensation strategies that most closely match Richemont philosophy and budgetary restrictions.
  • Update and governance, critical roles C&B package review and further approval to ensure governance and internal fairness under Group and APAC guidance.
  • Run the annual PMP & Salary Review processes, work with all levels of management to make sure timelines are adhered to and processing of pay changes is appropriately approved and verified.
  • Manage job descriptions (for benchmark), salary ranges and survey participation for all jobs using appropriate position database; implement and maintain databases and records. Prepare regular reports extracting data from the database.
  • Compensation analysis such as gender pay gap analysis, etc.
  • Short-term and Long-term incentives management

 

Benefit Management

  • Research employee benefit plans and vendors to identify those that present the best value and appropriateness for Richemont.
  • Design, recommend and implement benefit programs (MPF, Flex benefit, Insurance, Long service award, etc.)
  • Manage the benefit plan renewal process with APAC C&B and HRBPs.
  • Manage broker and vendor relationships. Serve as primary contact for plan vendors and third-party administrators. Coordinate transfer of data to external contacts for services, premiums and plan administration. Work effectively to make sure the plans run smoothly.
  • Audit and investigate discrepancies, ensure compliance with applicable government regulations and timeliness and accuracy of required filings.
  • Coordinate benefit processing; review and approve billing and enrollments/terminations monthly.
  • Work in partnership with the Payroll team to ensure proper benefits administration related to enrollments, terminations, changes, deductions, etc.
  • Complete internal audits of benefits and benefit eligibility in accordance with compliance requirements;
  • Provide regular reporting on benefits and participate in audits of benefits, compensation, and retirement plan as required.

 

Strategic Planning, Budgeting and Evaluation

  • Analyze the current benefits, evaluating the usage, services, coverage, effectiveness, cost, plan experience, and competitive trends in benefits programs and identify the company's stance.
  • Prepare, collect, and organize data for actuarial assessments. Review data in conjunction with actuarial evaluation task forces.
  • Survey industry trends. Complete compensation and benefit surveys and review information obtained from the results. Analyze complex information. Forecast trends and assist with future compensation or benefit designs. Develop specific recommendations for review by management.
  • Monitor administrative costs of benefit programs and recommend cost containment strategies including alternative methods for administration and funding. Prepare budgetary recommendations and assist in the monitoring, verifying and reconciling of budgeted funds. Recommend and advise on benefit enhancements and changes.
  • Leadership, Communication, and Employee Experience
  • Work with HRBPs on communication to enhance understanding of the company's benefits package, compensation, and merit process.
  • Oversee the design of and distribution of materials for benefit orientations, open enrollment, summary plan descriptions and any appropriate compensation program communications.
  • Create and conduct presentations using audiovisual tools including power point and videos.
  • Provide C&B COE related knowledge training and support to HR team.

 

HR & Operational Compliance

  • Review Employer Handbook Policies and Regulations.
  • Prepare HR Policies
  • As Focal window and work along and coordinate with internal Audit, Compliance and legal for People compliance matters.
  • Coordinate with Legal and Richemont Operations on legal requirement
  • As Focal window of Whistle blowing cases.
  • Handle and assist HRBP conduct investigation on Whistleblowing case
  • Lead by example, creating a compliant focused workflow
  • Properly document findings for future filing with timely communication, and risk migration
  • Defining process and guideline to ensure operation excellence to meet legal requirements, and collaborating on implementation
  • Obtain general knowledge of related regulatory and/or compliance issues
  • Assist with HR to respond to employee complaints and conduct related investigation

 

KEY SKILLS

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) with ten or more years related compensation and/or benefits experience. Human Resource Generalist experience with significant compensation and employee benefit administration experience may be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of South Asia total rewards and labour law practices. 
  • Must have a strong working knowledge of all local regulations, filing and compliance requirements affecting employee benefit programs.
  • Understand and respect the sensitive nature of highly confidential information and can navigate complex situations in a discrete, effective and efficient manner.
  • Project and team management/leadership skills and experience.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as with people at all levels within the organization.
  • Position acts independently and requires limited supervision and direction.
  • Exhibits strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills are required.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to various situations
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to understand, evaluate and make judgment on vendor proposals.
  • Strong skills and experience updating and utilizing Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) when necessary.
  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with MS Office suite or other substantially similar HRIS.
