Our Finance Team is looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Accounts Executive to support our retail finance business operations.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Sales and Collections Monitoring for Retail and E-commerce Business
    • Monitor and resolve red lights for sales transactions in SAP system
    • Reconciliation of daily receivables and payment collections in SAP and Matchbox systems
    • Ensure refunds are made in accordance with the Company’s policies
    • Follow-up on tourist tax refund matters

 

  1. Reporting & Monthly Activities
    • Reconciling and clearing general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
    • Preparation of monthly schedules and reports to the respective stakeholders
    • Landlord reporting

 

  1. Boutique Controlling Activities
  • Examine retail and e-commerce business transactions and ensure the Company’s policies and procedures are well respected
  • Present review observations and recommendations to the management

 

  1. Stock Management
    • Coordinate and perform finance stock take
    • Monitoring of boutique stocks and ensuring they are properly accounted for based on the Company’s policies

 

  1. Other Ad-hoc Activities
    • Conduct training and meetings to the retail teams and be the contact point for Maison regarding finance operational or compliance issues  
    • Ensure boutique finance operations manual as well as local regulatory requirements and policies are always respected
    • Involvement in finance related projects and other financial-related tasks as required
    • Liaise with external stakeholders including but not limited to auditors, payment acquirers, local authorities as required
    • Identifying areas for efficiency improvements in finance operations process

 

QUALIFICATIONS

    • At least 5 years of relevant work experience, ideally within luxury retail, FMCG and Beauty and Cosmetics Industry
    • Auditing experience is a must to manage relevant business needs
    • Possess a recognized Diploma in Accountancy
    • Strong accounting skills and data analytical skills
    • Able to navigate smoothly in matrix organization
    • Possess critical thinking skills, good communication skills and experience of exposure to Senior Management
    • Proficient in MS Office and familiar with accounting software/ERP systems
    • Ability to work under pressure, react quickly and able to assess complex business situations/transactions especially on high-risk areas, fraud susceptibility and highlight areas for improvement
