ROLE DESCRIPTION

Area Retail Manager is responsible for Retail Operation Supervision, Retail Reporting, Retail Business Sales Achievement of all boutiques in the designated regions. He/she has the responsibilities of ensuring that all boutiques maintain the highest brand standards, customer service excellence and overall compliance. This role is the enabler and enforcer of the group Retailization strategy. 

Area Retail Manager is a Senior Team Coordinator, with good inter-personnel skills, able to communicate at all levels, not only with Boutique Teams but also with other related internal departments/Maison’s and external partners. She/he is also capable of taking initiatives to ensure that all Quantitative and Qualitative objectives are met. This role is hands-on and requires frequent travel.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1.    Sales Management 

•    Develop region/city sales strategies to achieve commercial targets (quantitative & qualitative) 
•    Plan and oversee implementation of action plans at boutiques to achieve sales BU and LE target. 
•    Conduct monthly performance reviews with boutique managers together with Retail Director
•    Analyze actual run rates versus budget forecast ensuring alignment with quarterly targets
•    Identify and develop relationships with high value, repurchase customers in each boutique
•    Monitor sales mix and inventory rotation to ensuring sufficient allocation of pieces by Maison’s
•    Provide consolidated daily sales, KPI, CRM, monthly reports and competitor set analysis
•    Oversee planning of sales events including target setting, success measures and follow up 

2.    Operation Management 
•    Conduct regular inspections of boutiques to ensure operational compliance with standards
•    Provide feedback to boutique managers on areas for improvement, rectification action plan with the market visit checklist
•    Identify high potential boutique associates for accelerated management trainee program 
•    Assess needs and improvement areas providing feedback to Training Manager for course design
•    Together with Retail Director, conduct quarterly performance reviews on overall operations 
•    Engage boutique operations team regularly to ensure morale and monitor personnel changes
•    Ensure TimeVallee retail boutique standard operating procedures are adhered to at all times 

REQUIREMENTS:
•    Minimum BA degree and above 
•    Minimum 4 years or above in luxury retail brands 
•    Strong communicator with analytical mindset
•    Ability to perform under pressure in fast-paced environment 
•    Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivated, problem solver
•    Fluency in written and spoken Chinese and English
•    Domestic travel is required (approximately 30% of time)
