<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES

 

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Elaborate Forecasting and Own planning tools at all levels of outlook
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Coordinate with business teams to construct and align yearly budget, with monthly phasing follow up
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Collaborate with brand teams to provide financial suggestions and opinions on business development, investment and budget allocation
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Prepare the deliverables according to guidelines from Maison HQ and Group Finance
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Constantly liaise with the Financial Controllers to ensure consistency between actual and forecasted performance

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">1/ Fundamentals recurring tasks:

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Cost Based Planning: Elaborate monthly Rolling Forecast Financials (P&L, Cashflow, BS)

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">After monthly closing:

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Review and understand the Actuals in order to incorporate the current trend in the Rolling Forecast.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Understand and Follow business evolution to adjust the Landing Estimate.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Challenge business counterparts on the year to-go allocated resources.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Prepare monthly template to HQ reporting

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Driver Based Planning: Elaborate Annual Budget and Quarterly Update Financials (P&L, Cashflow, BS)

 

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Analyse and discuss business trends with Business Owners to identify areas of risks and/or of possible improvements for the next period
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Adjust the resources and budget during quarterly updates in order to optimize the spending with limited costs
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Based on business assumptions and strategic decisions confirmed in strategic plan, incorporate the business evolution trends for the budgeting period
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Collaborate and challenge Business Owners while defining the target budget of the year
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Input budgets and quarterly updates in the system
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Prepare appropriate templates to HQ reporting

 

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Modelling Planning: Participate in the Long-Term Strategic Plan

 

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Analyse and define the drivers and mechanisms for the current year and next 3 years
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Prepare simulations and what if scenarios
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Project and Reflect with Business teams on long term trends, business evolutions to incorporate the long-term strategy of the brand
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Elaborate Capex Request Form or other investments forms, closely work with BD and real estate team on the opening and renovation projects, verify the sales and investment assumptions and provide financial suggestions

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Continuous improvements of templates and process

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Participate in the development and implementation of digital planning, new modelling & planning tools

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Participate in the financial assessment of any other ad-hoc projects or strategic initiatives

 

 

 

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">CANDIDATE PROFILE

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Education / Qualifications

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">University Degree graduate or above, preferably with major in Business / Accounting / Finance

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Experience

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">At least 6 to 8 years of experience at large multinational companies with multiple stakeholders in a matrix organisation, including at least 2 to 3 years of relevant FP&A experience
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Experience in the development and production of financial reports and analysis
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Experience in data analytical, planning & modelling tools
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">The candidate would ideally have experience in large-scale physical retailing and e-Commerce in China.

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Communication skills

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact and demonstrate ‘Challenging Partnership’ at all levels of the organization
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Fluent written and spoken English and Mandarin
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Excellent report-writing and presentation skills
