Job Title : Head of Physical Security & HSE

 

MAIN PURPOSE

Oversees and leads the combined country structure of Physical Security and Health, Safety and the Environment (PSHSE).

The position is responsible for building and strengthening the function through implementing best practice, understanding the market, setting priorities, and leading (relevant) country initiatives.

 

Driving PSHSE based agenda and executing APAC initiatives at a local Korea level using a pragmatic approach. Providing business partnerships to CEO and Maison Leaders.

 

To ensure the delivery of an effective security program in Korea; relative to the dynamic PSHSE risks and requirements in a multi-location multi-national corporation. Responsible for ensuring policy and guidelines are implemented.

Ensure the appropriate PSHSE compliance risk reviews, assessment and audits are conducted, gap analysis identified, and corrective action implemented for locations including Boutiques, Offices, Customer Center and DC.

Ensure that appropriate operating procedures exist for all facilities and that they are consistently understood and adhered to.

 

Physical Security
 

  • Direct the implementation of PS operational measures including resource deployment, to ensure protection of persons, assets, products and operations.
  • Lead the periodic security risk reviews and assessment, with the full participation of the business units, on the company’s buildings and facilities to determine the risk exposure and the required security measures enhancement program to meet the prescribed standard.
  • Working effectively with key stakeholders (including but not limited to HR, Legal, Procurement and the business) to ensure that physical security goals and objectives are embedded within the business.
  • As required, manage, and assists in conducting investigations of significant threats and /or the loss of misappropriation of assets.
  • Supervise, coordinate, and monitor key events held by the Maisons to ensure that security risk is suitably mitigated and that the relevant Richemont policy is applied.
  • Supervise and support the security concept for construction & refurbishment of Data Centers, Offices, Corporate sites, flagship boutiques etc.
  • Direct the local security systems team to establish and implement the specifications, standards and requirements for security equipment and systems, and to ensure regular maintenance and servicing by the vendors.
  • As required - work effectively with the third-party suppliers to ensure the effective delivery of both security guidelines and project goals. This would include producing specification for pieces of work and the ongoing quality assurance of this work.
  • Maintain knowledge of complex industry trends, current security issues and security technology and update management on risk and threats that could impact company business.
  • Manage regional physicals security related projects and support APAC and Group Physical Security related projects as required.

 

Health, safety & environment (HSE)

 

  • Direct the implementation of HSE operational measures including resource deployment, to protect persons, assets, products and operations.
  • Develop, recommend, and implement robust strategies that commensurate with the risk profile of the platform and the requirements of the Maisons.
  • Accountable for the formulation, implementation, monitoring and compliance of the Group’s Policies, systems, regulatory requirements, procedures, and standards related to HSE.
  • Develop, implement, and updated the emergency response plan towards emergencies such as fire, crime, threats, or terrorism.
  • Ensure that the risk policies and the related procedures and standards are consistently applied across the company through regular communication with the Management and business units.
  • Represent the company to official authorities, external specialties and third parties.
  • Establish, follow and publish HSE key performance Indicators and scorecards.

 

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

 

  • Support HR and the business as applicable on the application of Group CSR framework and as applicable the enforcement of Code of Business

 

Professional Experience / Qualifications

 

  • >8 years’ experience in a corporate PSHSE management position
  • University degree or above in a relevant subject
  • Solid demonstrated understanding of Security and HSE, best practice.
  • Ability to respond rapidly to a changing threat environment and to utilize resources accordingly.
  • Good understanding of the world’s best practice in PSHSE operations, systems and equipment.
  • Excellent contracts and relations with the Government agencies security functions or major corporations and other major security companies 
  • Proficiency in contract and contractor management as well as project management
  • Strong leadership, communication and influencing skills
  • Fluent English
