MISSION

The mission of the Sourcing Intelligence manager is to support the Maisons and the Group Direction to build a strong sourcing/industrial strategy for leather goods in Italy:

 

  • Coordinate and manage the Supplier’s cards from all Maisons
  • Consolidate the needs of the Maisons in terms of purchases (Euros) and volumes
  • Analyse the dependency rates by suppliers (Supplier/Richemont and Richemont supplier)
  • Collect, harmonize and consolidate all KPIs related to suppliers’ performance in terms of Quality and delivery times
  • As most of the data should be extracted from SAP, the mission is also to be integrated in the SAP project
  • Inform a monthly basis the Industrial Directors and on a quarterly basis the Governance committee for Leather goods in Italy
  • Support the Maisons in the research for new reliable suppliers

 

KEY ACTIVITIES

Making key internal stakeholders working together is key to collect the right information, share the risks analysis and build a sourcing/industrial strategy

 

  1. Collect all information related to production capacities at suppliers: Level 1 and Level2
  • This information should come from the industrial directors. The Italian network is complex and the visibility on Tier 1 and subcontractors is mandatory.

 

 

  1. Collect all information related to Maisons needs: volumes and workload. Monthly, yearly and rolling vision.
  • This information is mandatory to analyze the adequation between needs and capacities

 

  1. Collect all information related to suppliers P&L and Group purchases
  • This information is key to build the dependency KPI

 

  1. Risks assessment and dashboards
  • Define and harmonize suppliers’ performance KPIs between Maisons (quality and deliveries) and build performance dashboard
  • Build dependency risk assessment dashboards
  • Build workload/capacities dashboards

 

  1. SAP:
  • Member of the new ERP implementation project. Attend the coordination meetings to reduce the dependency on Microsoft Excel.

 

  1. Communication
  • Provide risks analysis reports and communicate periodically
  • Attend periodic meetings with internal stakeholders to present updated information

 

 

  1. Control
  • Rules are defined and must be respected. Controlling the quality of the data is an important part of the function. KPI

 

Additional tasks

 

  • Working closely with the industrial directors from each Maison is key
  • Working and sharing with the responsible sourcing team in PRF and in in Switzerland is also important to consolidate the global picture and risk assessment of the suppliers’ network and build the dashboards
  • Working and sharing with F&A direction when necessary

 

 

PROFILE

  • 8+ years of experience in manufacturing in Italy (Leather good as a bonus)
  • Experience in production planning
  • Fluent English and Italian
  • Excellent Project Management skills
  • Relationship skills and ability to work in a transversal environment
  • Autonomy and ability to structure his/her own work and the work of others
  • Change management experience
  • Analytical skills
  • Rigor and reliability
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
