About the role:

 

The Internal Production Planner is responsible for scheduling and coordinating production activities of internal leather cutting center to ensure efficient workflow and optimal resource utilization. With a focus on identifying, analyzing, and implementing process improvements she/he will enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall operational efficiency.

 

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

 

  • Develop detailed production schedules and monitor production progress adjusting them as needed to meet deadlines
  • Optimize resources utilization coordinating with the departments of manufacturing and logistics to ensure smooth production flow
  • Analyze production processes to identify inefficiencies, waste, areas of improvement implementing lean methodologies and supporting the digital transformation initiatives
  • Lead Kaizen events performing root cause analysis, problem-solving initiatives and engaging employees in continuous improvement activities to foster a culture of operational excellence
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams to align production goals with business objectives and update to management on the current progress
  • Prepare reports on production efficiency, process improvements, and cost savings initiatives

 

 

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

 

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
  • +3 years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or continuous improvements in the leathergoods industry
  • Good English knowledge (+B1)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in production planning software (ERP/MRP systems) and data analysis tools
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
