Manager – Health, Safety, & Environment (HSE)

Role Overview:
The Health, Safety, & Environment (HSE) Manager will assume direct responsibility for Richemont’s US locations in the East. In addition, they will provide overarching support for the Region (US, CA, MX, & BR) by collaborating with other members of the HSE department.
The role’s primary objective will be to promote a safe and healthy work environment for all personnel, while providing subject matter expertise to ensure Richemont meets or exceeds industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and maintain HSE programs to ensure compliance with applicable legislation and Richemont corporate (Group) policies.
- Define HSE objectives and KPIs according to business needs.
- Organize and manage multiple projects to completion, including any permit renewals or required reporting (i.e. Tier II, FDNY, DEP, etc.)
- Coordinate and conduct inspections to identify and address health, safety, and environmental hazards or risks. Support in the development of corrective action plans to resolve issues.
- Promote HSE awareness through on-going education, training and drills.
- Represent Richemont’s interests and maintain effective working relationships when dealing with external authorities (i.e. government agencies) and liaise with internal teams to coordinate information as needed (ex. Legal, HR, etc.). Oversee and facilitate responses to all compliance orders, penalties, assessments or similar items.
- Prevent workplace incidents by leading an investigation process, including root cause analysis and assignment of mitigative measures. Collaborate with HR to support return-to-work program for occupational and non-occupational illness/injuries.
- Provide administrative support with managing nationally contracted services, such as: chemical waste disposal, life safety equipment inspections, and first aid supply replenishment.
- Monitor changes in legislation to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Review new products and/or processes to ensure HSE considerations are addressed.
- Establish cross-functional relationships with key business stakeholders to synergize compliance efforts (i.e. Sustainability, Real Estate/BOS, etc.).
- Participate in presentations, meeting, and audits (both internal & external), providing comprehensive knowledge on all HSE matters.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of relevant experience
- Preferred Certification/Licensure:

- OSHA 30 Hour (General Industry)
- Associate Safety Professional (ASP); or
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Safety, & Environment or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including SharePoint, Word, and Excel
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Travel requirements (Moderate)

Expected Salary Range:
Salary will be negotiated based on relevant skills and experience.
Salary range: $105,000 – $112,000
