INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS ASSISTANT MANAGER - NEW YORK

 

JOB PROFILE

As a member of the Internal Communications team, you will work cross-functionally to serve as a valued partner to our Richemont Americas employees, keeping them informed, inspired, and connected to Richemont’s values. This is an exciting position for a digitally savvy, high-energy, and professionally poised individual who is passionate about writing, photography, and videography. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports the IC Senior manager and strategic communication plans for internal stakeholders, including our leadership team, centers of excellence and function teams
  • Write, edit, produce, and manage distribution of internal communications content as needed (e.g., newsletters, articles for the company intranet, corporate announcements, presentations, speeches, newsletters)
  • Own regional-wide communications calendar, keeping track of what is distributed, when, and in what sequence
  • Partner to establish metrics, track progress and develop tools to improve communication effectiveness
  • Assist in ongoing evolution of the department, including generating fun, creative new ideas to enhance employee engagement across broad audiences using various channels
  • Maintain regional-wide communications calendar, keeping track of what is distributed, when, and in what
  • Support in the design, storyboarding and presentation stylizing of internal branding for employees to understand the latest key messages
  • Contribute to the evolution of the department, including generating fun, creative new ideas to enhance employee engagement across broad audiences using various channels
  • Knowledge of latest social media practices, able to turn those into impactful communication to reach broad audiences on our communication channels

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • BA or Master’s Degree in communications, digital media, journalism, marketing, public relations or a related program; 3-5 years of experience in a related field
  • Detail oriented with excellent writing, editing and event management skills
  • Must be entrepreneurial, resourceful, and comfortable working in a small team environment where self-sufficiency is essential
  • Able to work on several projects simultaneously from concept through completion
  • Experience with executive presence and stakeholder management with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization, including senior leaders (regionally and market)
  • Required computer software skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Cloud, Photoshop, Illustrator) along with proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 basics; Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of major graphic/video editing and file formats
