THE MISSION OF THE ROLE

At Richemont, respect, care, equal opportunities, and fairness are at the very core of our organization. We are looking for a Director of Inclusion & Diversity to join us in progressing, developing, and championing an inclusive environment and diverse workforce, enabling all of our people to thrive. We will look to this key member of our team to bring thought leadership, tailored insights, and strategic perspective to our efforts to foster DEI across Richemont’s Americas Region, including the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Brazil markets. The role reports to our SVP of Human Resources for the Americas Region.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Provide strategic input and guidance to our leaders and HR partners on embedding DEI best practices into all aspects of our teams and operations.
  • Design, develop, and direct the delivery of programs and strategies that progress our DEI goals, in partnership with our executive team, Maison/Function leaders, and Human Resources.
  • Coach our executives and leaders in shaping their roles as champions and advocates for inclusion and belonging.
  • Model Richemont’s Values and Behaviors and collaborate throughout the organization to embed these principles into the culture.
  • Partner with the HR Operations & Analytics Team to define data models; collect relevant DEI data; and develop, maintain, and monitor metrics on a DEI dashboard, using research and data-driven insights to diagnose and assess the impact of DEI programs and initiatives.
  • Gather and analyze quantitative and qualitative data on the experience of diverse populations through surveys, engagement interviews, and exit interviews to identify opportunities to drive equitable practices that support the engagement and retention of diverse employees.
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development as a thought partner in co-designing, and facilitating curated DEI workshops, and provide consultative advice on multimedia learning solutions.
  • Partner with Talent Team to equip recruiters, hiring managers, and interviewers with the tools, training, and resources necessary to attract and retain diverse talent.
  • Partner with Internal Communications to inform and execute communication strategies and programs that leverage the passion and perspectives of our people, including the development of engagement vehicles.
  • Collaborate with the Region’s senior leadership and HR to inform employment policies and practices, ensuring the consistent application of DEI principles and priorities.
  • Maintain an active network of DEI experts, both inside and outside our immediate industry, to support the organization’s development and evolution through best practices.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO OUR TEAM

  • 10+ years of HR and/or DEI experience, including strategic involvement with the design and development of successful DEI initiatives and programs in complex corporate environments.
  • Exposure to DEI in a geographically diverse retail or consumer-centric organization; luxury sector experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of industry benchmarks, best practices, and innovations in DEI.
  • Success in coaching and influencing organizational leaders at all levels.
  • Experience leading local DEI objectives in collaboration with a European parent organization would be a plus.
  • A robust local network in the DEI space.

  • This role is based in our NYC corporate offices in midtown Manhattan, with periodic travel to other Richemont offices and boutique locations throughout the Americas (US, Canada, Mexico and Brazil), and to our global headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.

Expected Salary Range: $150,000 - $185,000

Salary will be negotiated based on relevant skills and experience
