Data & Reporting Analysis Manager– FP&A

Role Overview

 

The Manager, Data & Reporting Analysis – FP&A will be responsible for turning data into actionable and insightful information for our stakeholders and for providing meaningful and accurate financial reporting to various levels of management.  The Manager, Data & Reporting Analysis – FP&A will also provide support to data driven projects and drive automation of reports.  The role reports to the VP of Financial Planning & Analysis and requires strong analytical and technical skills, attention to detail and an inquisitive and innovative spirit.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

Reporting:

  • Collect and analyze data to develop insights and recommendations for business decisions.
  • Create and maintain key finance reports, dashboards and other data visualiztion tools for distribution to regional executives and upper management, including, but not limited to:
    • Sales and P&L reporting
    • Executive summary
    • Brands and Group presentations
    • KPIs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new reporting tools to meet evolving business needs
  • Build thoughtful and accurate ad hoc reporting and modelling.

 

Data Analytics:

  • Enhance security, accuracy and efficiency through testing and analysis of data sources and reporting tools
  • Routinely audit data sources for variances and gaps, and investigate solutions for all identified issues
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing with the goal of continuously improving data quality
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with Management, IT and Finance colleagues to understand data needs and implement best practices

 

Data Quality:

  • Implement automation where possible to limit potential for error and enhance data integrity
  • Assess risks, develop audits, ensure compliance with Group policies and procedures
  • Track statistics to identify opportunities for process improvements

 

 

Continuous Improvement:

  • Proactively identify and seek opportunities to drive efficiencies resulting in improved systems and processes
  • Create and foster an environment with the mindset to always raise the bar and continuously improve
  • Leverage digitalization where applicable (e.g., machine learning, robotics, artificial intelligence) to build innovated processes that generate efficiency and compliance gains

 

 

Qualifications

 

Required Experience and essential skills:

  • 5+ years in finance or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence
  • Strong data and analytical skills. Must enjoy working with numbers and bringing structure to complex data reports
  • Effective relationship building skills with all levels of management, and the ability to leverage those relationships to build trust and influence to achieve stated objectives
  • Robust organizational and communication skills to meet timelines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong finance and business process orientation
  • Independent self-starter
  • Expert proficiency in Excel (including VBA and advanced formulas) and PowerPoint,
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as SAC, Tableau or Power BI.

Expected Salary Range: $ 118,000 - $135,000

Salary will be negotiated based on relevant skills and experience.
