R&I Internship - Technical monitoring and patent tools

MISSION
We offer a 6-month duration internship as of March 2025. In this role, you will be in charge of equipping and optimizing IT-tools used for technical monitoring processes within our research and innovation department.
RESPONSABILITIES
Finding the information available on a technical subject is sometimes complicated in our society of information overabundance.
In close collaboration with the Transversal Innovation Office team, under the responsibility of your internship supervisor, your mission will be to propose and implement software solutions on our collaborative platforms to enable information linking, facilitate its storage and reuse. The objective will be to identify the most suitable solutions for the need and to have them adopted by the teams.
More specifically, you will be in charge of:
- Conducting a state-of-the-art review of existing approaches.
- Collecting user needs and key knowledge.
- Proposing tools and methods.
- Setting up user tests.
- Training users on the deployed solutions.
- Documenting and reporting the results.
PROFILE
You are a student in computer science or equivalent, master level and you have knowledge of AI and programming or have had a first experience during a project carried out during your studies.
With a good interpersonal skills, you have excellent interpersonal skills and a great ability to listen. Persistent and autonomous, you naturally develop an interest in research, experimental work and practice.
Dynamic and organized, you are a force of suggestion.
Fluent in French. English proficiency is a plus.
Based mainly in our R&I hub located in Microcity, Neuchâtel, you will also have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from other research sectors within our department.
