HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT? 

 
Richemont Group Technology collaborates with vendors and partners to continuously develop a state-of-the-art techno logy capability to fuel the Group’s growth. Focusing on strategic vendors, Richemont is looking into the vendors’ strategy and management to strengthen its performance adopting new ways of working. 

We are seeking a highly skilled strategic vendor management Llead to join Richemont’s Technology department: in this role you will be asked to develop the strategic vendor strategy and relationship management throughout the entire contract lifecycle, securing innovation, service excellence and driving performance optimizations while mitigating risks, in close collaboration with the executive leadership and other Group functions. The role will report into the Head of Strategic Projects, it is full-time and based in Geneva.  

 

Key Responsibilities include: 

  • Vendors strategy design 

    • Lead the design of short-term and long-term strategic vendor plans across all categories (professional services, software, hardware, etc.) 

    • Design and track objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs) and milestones, in line with the best market practice 

  • Vendors relationship  

    • Develop a strong collaboration with strategic vendors and maintain open and effective line of communication across the established governance 

    • Secure a framework to address business reviews, business development opportunities, change requests, conflict resolutions and escalations 

  • Action plan execution 

    • Lead the action plan execution and day-to-day operations to implement the vendors strategy, mobilizing the cross-functional expertise across the Group 

    • Report structured updates on the action plan and the strategic goals achievements against expectations 

  • Capabilities and operating model evolution 

    • Evolve and detail the vendor management operating model and ways of working, securing organization alignment and support 

    • Design the evolution of the vendor management capabilities and capacity, in alignment with the business priorities 

    • Design, build and lead a high-performing strategic vendors management team to cover the entire lifecycle across all categories 

  • Performance and compliance 

    • Monitor suppliers' compliance regarding delivery, quality and financial performance 

    • Leverage vendor relationships and capabilities to drive change and continuous improvements across evolving business requirements 

  • Stakeholder Engagement 

    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including executive leadership, procurement and other central functions, Regions and Maisons across the vendors strategy design and development 

  • Trends and innovation 

    • Monitor market trends and identify emerging vendors and capabilities to support the Group continuous innovation 

 

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US? 

 

The role requires proven experience and maturity in the below skills: 

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in business, computer science, or information technology 

  • Extensive experience (7+ years) specifically in vendor management in the Technology field for multinational companies. 

  • Proven track record of successful vendor strategy implementation at scale. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, project management and organizational skills. 

  • Strong negotiation and decision-making skills. 

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Advanced level with Microsoft Office Suite. 

  • Fluency in English, French is an asset.
