CONTEXT
 

Richemont is looking for a talented Salesforce Solution Architect to help supporting the delivery of B2B/Wholesale solutions and applications to its Maisons.
 

Our B2B/Wholesale pillar is an integral part of our Group Technology team. You will be joining a dynamic and agile team responsible for the complete refactoring of the B2B landscape. Based on Salesforce and Microsoft technologies with a worldwide, multi-cloud, cross-Maisons scope, we are looking into scaling up our internal capabilities in order to support our major strategic Luxury New Retail program. 

Reporting to the B2B Product Area Manager, as  Solution Architect (SA) you will be accountable for translating detailed business, technical and architectural requirements into a solution blueprint to enable business objectives. Perform necessary analysis and design tasks related to the development of products as per architecture guardrails provided by Architecture Office. Will be accountable for maintaining the solution design of the products, exchanging feedback about unmet needs with enterprise architects. You will provide coaching to technical teams and ensure a proper management of the technical dependencies to maintain consistency across the platforms.

You will work in a global environment with highly distributed teams in different countries and time zones. While working closely with the technical leads of each Products interacting on the platform, you will be interacting with stakeholders at all levels of management.

You will be joining a dynamic team where you will play a pivotal role in a major, multi-Maisons, worldwide Salesforce initiative for some of the most prestigious Maisons.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

• Leads the implementation and integration of the technical architecture in a product area based on business strategy, business skills, business requirements and along the defined EA guardrails
• Ensures that architecture principles, best practices and architecture guidelines in the developed Product/Solution are adhered
• Support during solution definition, provides guidance on architectural designs and strategies to improve Product/Solution performance and scalability
• Work with Product’s technical leads to manage & develop the architecture for the Products and deliver the architectural design, translating business needs into a solution blueprint representing the end-to-end technical solution
• Recommend and provide target architecture, architectural strategy as well as vision and processes, within the guidelines specified by the Enterprise Architect
• Develop integration processes and interface requirements
• Recommend and provides target architecture, architectural strategy as well as vision and processes, within the guidelines specified by the EA, the team has decision making authority at the product level
• Select the technology stack based on the given requirements and constraints, in close collaboration with the Technical Team Leads.
• Provide technical expertise with a broad set of development tools/technologies
• Understand global IT strategy and business needs to define high level architectures
• Provide recommendations in the selection and use of technology, such as “build or buy”
• Analyze complex issues and propose solutions to solve them
• Ensure third-party products fit in the organization ecosystem
• Ensure the implementation of agreed architecture and infrastructure, maintaining a roadmap for required changes.
• Align with the Senior Product Owner(s) and Product Owners to adequately prioritize technical features required for future functional features as well as current and future technical platform stability, security and compliance.
• Actively contribute to the Product Design Forum and Community of Practice
• Participate to the technology stack selection based on the given requirements and limitations
• Actively support and help development teams scale leveraging architecture best practices

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

• 10 years experience as Solution Architect, including multinational environment
• B.Sc. or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in design and implementation of Salesforce programs
• Salesforce certification(s) are mandatory for this position
• Knowledge of Microsoft technologies is a plus
• Strong knowledge of agile methodologies
• Architecture Development Methodology and Frameworks (e.g.  TOGAF)
• Diagramming and visual communication skills are key; good knowledge of UML is a plus
• Proven technical knowledge
• Ability to present ideas in a user-friendly or executive language at different management levels up to C-Level
• High attention to detail.
• Experience in software architecture and development lifecycle
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and organizational skills
• Deep knowledge of platforms, Infrastructure and network architecture, Development standards
• Strong customer orientation
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, with strong knowledge of Agile Product management principles (certifications is an asset)
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations
• Capacity to use emerging web technologies into live ecosystems
• Highly self-motivated and focused
• Ability to work in a complex, fast-paced, distributed environment with high expectations
• Proficiency in English is mandatory
• Consulting experience is an asset
• Experience with Confluence, Jira & Zephyr suitable.
