HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT? 

 

As a Senior Accountant & Tax Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely management of bank accounting and reconciliation and management of indirect taxes for Richemont Iberia, Montblanc Iberia, and Watchfinder Iberia across Spain and Portugal. This involves collaborating closely with external tax advisors and managing various tax compliance obligations. 

 

  • Bank reconciliation. Accounting and reconciliation of daily bank transactions. 

  • Interco netting process. Payments and collections between inter- companies. 

  • Review and approve invoices related to tax matters; this ensures accurate and timely processing of payments. 

  • Manage all aspects of indirect tax compliance for Richemont Iberia, Montblanc Iberia, and Watchfinder Iberia in Spain; this includes overseeing the review of SII Spain declarations. 

  • Manage all aspects of indirect tax compliance for the Richemont Iberia, Montblanc Iberia, and Watchfinder Iberia subsidiaries in Portugal; this includes overseeing the review of SAF-T reports. 

  • Prepare and submit Intrastat declarations for Richemont, Montblanc, and Watchfinder across both Spain and Portugal; this ensures accurate reporting of intra-community trade. 

  • Participate in and support the completion of central bank surveys; this contributes to the overall financial reporting requirements. 

 

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US? 

 

  • 2-3 years of experience in an accounting department related to tax field. 

  • Fluent in English (minimum B2 level) 

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel 

  • Knowledge of SAP is highly desirable 

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and methodical approach
