Richemont owns several of the world's leading companies in the field of luxury goods, with particular strengths in jewellery, luxury watches, leather goods, fashion and writing instruments. The Richemont Group Marketing department includes Group PR, which is responsible for supporting Richemont Maisons in all strategic communication activities, by providing expertise through research, analysis, cross department collaborations and Communications Measurement tools.


The role within Richemont Group PR will provide a unique opportunity:

To work on a large portfolio of world-leading luxury brands and understand challenges in the global marketplace.

To develop a profound knowledge of the luxury watch, jewellery and fashion brands’ Communications initiatives in today’s dynamic communications landscape, touching on brand reputation, sustainability topics and world events.

To acquire highly sought-after real-life marketing skills (project management, quantitative and qualitative research, report writing and editing).

To potentially continue working within the group subject to feedback at end of placement.

 

Purpose:
Richemont is looking for a Strategic Communications Assistant to join their dynamic, multicultural, and hard-working team to support on multiple aspects managed across the department.


Responsibilities:

  • Daily press review of Richemont Maisons, competitor and world news to help the department stay informed
  • Daily management and upkeep of the department’s news database for both Richemont Maisons and competitors
  • Maintenance of external and internal Events Calendar to assist Maisons in strategic event planning and monitor competitors’ PR initiatives from within the luxury industry and beyond
  • Responsible for the content planning, writing and visual layout of the department’s monthly newsletter
  • Support on Communications sections of annual Marketing & Communications reports using the department’s qualitative and quantitative tools to extract data draw analysis & conclusions
  • Support on the day-to-day management and data input on Monday.com across the department’s work streams (strategic communications, reputation and sustainability)
  • Collect, research and synthesise content from industry forums, global thought leaders and experts to enrich the department’s ongoing perspective and tools
  • Co-ordination on Earned Media reporting including Monthly, Quarterly & Ad Hoc Reporting conducting quality control of data for all Maisons across Print, Web & Social channels
  • Preparation of internal presentations and ad-hoc reports to help Maisons in all aspects of their communication strategies including but not limited to competitor analysis
  • Contribute to Impact Reports for Maisons by adding industry context and coverage insights and highlights

 

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

  • Agility and willingness to develop as role will evolve after 3-4 months to include new tasks
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Highly organised & attention to details
  • Good knowledge and understanding of luxury landscape and news sources
  • Creative and strategic thinker with an eye for trends
  • Strong capacity for multi-tasking and diligent whilst working under supervision
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (proficient command of Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Deadline-orientated

 

Qualifications & Interests:

  • Previous work experience in the luxury or relevant industry sector in a communications or marketing role (minimum 1-year relevant experience or more)
  • Passion for the luxury industry and Richemont Maisons
