Richemont - Internal Communications and Events Coordinator

Your mission will be to assist the department head in the planning and delivery of internal communications, employee events, and other colleague experiences. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to train under a highly experienced, hands-on manager and to help to shape its future within the organisation. HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

 

We are seeking a highly motivated, well presented and organised coordinator to support our Internal Communications and Events Department Head. You will support with the development and coordination of a local discounts programme for our employees, researching and booking external speakers, coordinating volunteering activities, organising health and wellness seminars and treatments, booking venues and transport, and helping to organise various other employee events and engagement activities. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

 

 

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate delivery of new ‘Maison Spotlights’ programme, partnering with key senior marketing colleagues within the different Maisons to develop and deliver engaging content and experiences that promote their key in-market moments to the wider employee population in a consistent manner while remaining true to the individual brand identity of each Maison
  • Partner with Maison stakeholders to promote Staff Sales and Product Borrowing, including copywriting and creation of visual content
  • Expand and maintain UK-wide Maison Events Calendar, liaising with PR and Maison colleagues to obtain and collate relevant information
  • Liaise closely with senior stakeholders in the UK ExCo and across all Maisons to support delivery of leadership communication strategy
  • Develop and maintain Internal Communications KPI Dashboard, including detailed analysis of engagement data across various platforms, to monitor effectiveness of communication strategies across multiple channels and audiences
  • Manage tender process for new suppliers, including research, shortlisting, cost analysis and proposal development
  • Research local businesses, negotiate local discounts for employees and maintain an up-to-date database of current offers
  • Organise educational seminars and wellness activities for colleagues, including researching, booking and liaising with external providers
  • Coordinate programme of external speakers on relevant topics, including research, topic proposals, booking and liaising with speakers, organising logistics and scheduling
  • Support with internal employee listening programme logistics, e.g. planning and scheduling focus groups, organising rooms and refreshments, booking external support as required, etc.
  • Research, propose and book external venues (e.g. conference halls, restaurants, meeting spaces, etc.) as required to support employee engagement activities
  • Liaise with charity partners to schedule team volunteering days
  • Coordinate travel for off-site volunteering and other large group activities, e.g. coach bookings, etc.
  • Help to coordinate internal events, including scheduling, RSVP management, logistics, script planning, purchases on account, decoration and coordination with vendors and stakeholders
  • Support the production of multimedia content, including copy, video, posters and graphics, for internal communications and events
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry, maintaining calendars, updating internal platforms (Intranet, Yammer), file sharing, budget tracking, etc.

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

  • Hold a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Teams and Sharepoint
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong commercial nous and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Previous experience in event planning or internal communications is a plus
  • Experience using Canva design tool is helpful but not required
