Richemont is looking for a talented and highly motivated Release Manager to help our luxury Maisons during their digital transformation journey, with a specific focus on Client & Market domain (C&M).
The C&M domain comprises product areas covering Retail, Wholesale, E-Commerce, Client Engagement, Online Customer services, Order Management systems, Omnichannel content, among others. The C&M Release Manager takes part of a transversal team called “C&M Program Management & Roll-outs”, involving several types of coordination roles.
Therefore s/he will partner with the Product Area teams, Maisons, their integrators, Program & Test Managers, other product domain representatives to consolidate all changes and releases applied to various products/solutions, identify and manage underlaying interdependencies and risks.
The C&M Release Manager will work in a global environment with highly distributed teams in different countries and time zones and at different management levels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The RM practices are contained in a catalog of services covering:
- Delivery processes facilitation & Follow-up: Communicate and promote best practices and harmonized/standardized RM processes to all C&M teams
- Communication, Organization & Supervision of environments: Share key updates on ongoing initiatives, product teams as well as general news about teams, risks
- Support to Maisons for Deployments: Provide support to Maisons on delivery deployments and participate with Business Relationship Management “tours of the Maisons”, as key contact for problem solving. In some cases (AEM6 platform), review of content on JIRA tickets, check of minimum requirements.
- Support to Initiatives of our Portfolio: Participate to key initiative milestone ceremonies and share key information (e.g.: dependencies, environment constraints). Work closely with Programs & Test Managers, helping them with Maisons delivery coordination and environment follow-up
- Support to Product teams: Helps product teams providing RM-related processes, tools, support to delivery and strive for harmonization
- Escalation related to Deployments: Detect and escalate blocking issues related to deployment, management and propose mitigation plans when possible (e.g.: Christmas Freeze deployments exceptions)
- Communities & Synergies: Collaborate on regular basis with the RM Community of Practices, integrate with Business Relationship Managers, help collecting and sharing best practices with high potential cross-team synergies
PROFILE REQUIREMENT
- B.Sc. or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
- 7+ years’ experience as a Change and Release Manager in an international environment
- Experience as a Program or Project Manager is an asset
- Proven experience in B2C and B2B programs are a plus
- Good knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools, code branching and versioning
- Experience in service delivery management field
- Hands on experience with technology concepts such as APIs, micro-services, Cloud hosting (e.g. AWS), OMS, CRM (e.g. Salesforce platform) and ERP (e.g. SAP R/3 and S/4)
- Good knowledge of the Atlassian Suite, JIRA and Confluence
- Strong skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
- Knowledge of Agile at scale such as SAFe is an asset.
- Knowledge and experience in implementing DORA Metrics is suitable.
- Experience in Waterfall and waterfall-agile hybrid methodologies
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and organizational skills

- Ability to communicate with technical and business teams (all levels)
- Strong interpersonal, and communication skills and high attention
- Ability to work in a complex, fast-paced, distributed environment with high expectations
- Fluent English required, French is suitable, other languages are a plus (e.g., German, Italian, Chinese)
