Digital Workplace – Operations engineer (Messaging)

As part of the Digital Workplace (DWP) operations team, your role would be to bring the digital workplace landscape to the next level. You will be responsible to monitor the DWP platforms and act on them if issues are identified. Also, to enhance the knowledge bridges with the local IT teams. Up to date documentation is a key factor you will need to commit to. Also, building processes that help to offload users and the operations team.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?   

  • Keep the scoped platforms healthy. 

  • Support projects that bring added value to the business users in the scope of digital workplace. 

  • Staying up to date on potential security gaps and being reactive when one is identified. 

  • Guide and help the local IT teams with their needs. 

  • Build automation processes that help to operate the platforms. 

  

DWP Operations engineer responsibilities you will support the business with  

  • Be the subject matter expert on DWP operations on messaging landscape. 

  • Manage priorities and SLAs. 

  • Build knowledge bridge between operations and local IT teams. 

  • ITIL methodology. 

  • Powershell automation script to help carry out daily tasks. 

 

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCESS WITH US?  

As DWP Operations engineer, you will work with a very experience and highly performant team overlooking many technologies that serve the digital workplace. This is a constantly evolving environment which will make you expand your knowledge.

Soft Skills you should have for the role  

  • Good communicator 

  • Attention to detail. 

  • Analytic skills 

  • Help with the onboarding of potential new DWP solutions that will be added to the portfolio. 

  

A plus if you have these skills  

  • Email security protocols (SPF, DKIM and DMARC). 

 

 You are / have  

  • Willingness to constantly learn and progress.   

  • Engineering school, university or polytechnic master’s in computer science, Communication Systems, Telecommunication – or similar working/studying experience.  

  • At least 3 years of experience in engineering tasks related to Microsoft stack. 

  • Strong capacity to analyse automation process issues and propose solutions.  

  • Ability to communicate in both technical and non-technical ways with clients and colleagues.  

  • Rigorous, flexible, stress resistant, autonomous and passionate about computer science . 

  • Capacity to work in an autonomous way and in multi-cultural context across regions.
